MediaLady:Hello Ma'am, I think you didn't get my point. Yes, all Mpower loan will be disbursed to the school, and the school will remove their tuition. They are obligated to give the student the remaining balance... There's nothing like a school partnering with Mpower but they can't release the living expenses, if the applicant got an approved loan that is more than the tuition costs... For example, if you got a $20,000 loan approval, and your tuition is $15,000, there is nothing like the school won't release the remaining $5,000 to you. In your case, if you requested for an amount more than your 2 year tuition and got approved, the remaining will be sent to your personal account after you appear in person at the bursar office in your school. I do attend Mpower seminar online every week, and same question has been asked. The host said, all schools partnering with Mpower support it, and it's part of the things they look into before they finalize partnering with an institutions. 3 Likes |

ShowYoung:Honestly, i don't know when this people intend to call-off this strike and the longer it takes, time keeps running. And I'm looking forward to January 2023 intake. You made mentioned of a conditional admission, if i can be offer that no problem, then whenever ASUU calls off strike, i can send whatever docs that they need. @Lekiboboe @ShowYoung @Makano @Mrprolink |

Just keep tracking it on the flywire app. Once they receive your payment after like 2 days , it’ll be updated to received. larryrichie: 1 Like |

Please guys , I have printed my tuition receipt from Flywire. Do I need to write a LOE and upload both via webform ? Or I should just go ahead and upload the flywire receipt without a LOE |

Please i need advice on this, my brother applied for a study visa using an agent and got denied. One of the reasons stated was 1) he did not truly answer questions about being denied a visa before. He was denied a US Visa in 2018 and 2021. He told his agent and even paid more because of this but the agent did not state this on his application. How can this be addressed? He intends to reapply. Thank you! |

Toceen2022: Please does this mean, If I’m using mpower and I equest for extra 20k CAD for my 2 years expense, I just tell the visa that my living expenses is already with my school with proof? And I don’t need to show any funds in my own acct ? Please help to understand!!! |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Toceen2022: 3:15pm On Jun 22, 2022 |
ActivatedDreams:Often times, either Mpower or not, it's advisable to show more than the required funds. This is just to convince the VO that you'll not be lacking during your study. So, if the total amount of approved Mpower loan covers your tuition and living expenses, it's important to show some reasonable amount in your bank account. It's just a way to demonstrate financial responsibility to some extent. 4 Likes |

bioladebs93:Since you have been out of school for a long time, your best option is to go for a program that leads to career progression. But since you are now into business and you studied business administration you can still go for a diploma program in business management or other related programs. What kind of business are you involved in? |

Joedave25: Best believe it's true. Its only necessary to deny it so as not to cause panic and rush at the moment. Banks have always depended on CBN for availability of FX, Now their plan is to end this age long practice and make banks source for their own FX and that's when the rate will become crazy.
