And so, does he paid it from his own pocket. The funds is public money that supposed to go to the public wellbeing.

I’m not impress at all. I said we want a concrete achievement from him. Maybe his die hard fans can tell us his achievements while in power then. Don’t tell me he improved Lagos life, don’t forget Lagos is a former capital of Nigeria, and also one of the state, Nigeria generate huge IGR from up till date

If the economy is great, they won't need to depend on you to pay for their WAEC, they would have been able to afford it themselves.

Some bitter , hateful ungrateful non indigenes, ipob terrorists and their Igbo uncles/aunties/ parents hating on Asiwaju Tinubu today because he is not Igbo and Christian benefited a lot from this policy now copied by other states. I recall that Lagos Indigenous students under NULASS then were concerned that Asiwaju was using the Lagos state funds he should add to our bursary (to reduce our parents' financial burden) to pay waec for non indigenes but we never discriminated. Mamora was the Speaker LAHA then.

It is only one Igbo I have seen who openly declared that it is through this policy that helped his Igbo cousins sit for WAEC and will ever be grateful to Asiwaju Tinubu for this. Only one out of millions Asiwaju Tinubu supported to realise their Lagos dream for quality education.
That is why the hateful lots will always lose.
You can not hate your benefactor and get away.
Asiwaju Tinubu never discriminated against Igbos and other Nigerians yet it is the Igbo set of non indigenes who turned out the most hateful towards him to the extent that he will become President even witbout majority votes from the same Igbo he once showed so much love to.

Lol by that time in the year 2000, Tinubu has not even spent up to a year in Lagos as a governor, so it doesn't make much sense to blame him for the state of economy by that time.

I may not be varse in politics and in understanding I might be limited but judging from all I read and how he transformed Lagos, I can confidently say he's a fine politician but what I don't like with most of them is that, even after seeing the signs that they can't cope with the task ahead they still want to be there. I like the man sincerely,my mom has taught me time and time again to learn to disassociate people from whatever ills people talk against them. He has good intentions in governance and in politics as well. He's a political godfather but the truth remains this,he has tried,he has raised sons and daughters who are doing well in politics bot within and across Nigeria. My only humble suggestion is that he should step down, rest and make good use of his old age. He can do something else but not aspiring to be a president. I'm not detecting for him but .... It's well.

Funny enough, every other states copied this policy. Same way they all copied other innovative ideas introduced by Tinubu such as LIRS, LASTMA, IPP, BRT, PSP, LCDA, Millennium schools, RRS, etc. If we ask them to tell us the innovative ideas that Peter Obi and Atiku introduced while in government that are still being relevant today and even adopted by other states, they will start abusing us or refer us to Google.
