Nothing is wrong in your maternal aunt sponsoring you.

Concerning the cost of your study, if you provide more information about your study plan such as total tuition fee, program duration and total number of people accompanying you to Canada, I may be able to give you an approximate value for your cost of study in Canada.

Thanks @ShowYoung. Total tuition fee is $36,000 but I’ve paid a tuition deposit of $2,500. It’s a diploma, 2 year program and I am going alone.

And my sponsor resides in Canada. What are the documents I will be needing from her please.
Thanks

You can checkout ACCOUNTING AND PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION. Graduates in this program are in very high demand in Newbrunswick. If you are interested in living in Newbrunswick after study , then I suggest you take a look at the program. Below is a link to the program offered in New Brunswick community college (NBCC).

My Form A application is currently on ADB Disbursement Reviewer Stage (GT Bank). I haven't gotten any debit alert whatsoever but I just saw on my bank app that my current balance is short 3,033,582.68 from the book balance (the transaction is 9241.93 cad. Does this mean GT bank is about to complete the transaction?

No, this is just first step in the process, the equivalent amount is what is blocked in your account so that they can pay CBN when they allocate funds, however, CBN has not been allocating funds fast, so now you need to start praying and hope you are answered on time

Hi, after doing medicals with IOM Ikeja, is it the same day that they give the document that one would upload to the portal? Or it gets sent to me after a couple of days.

Anyone with an idea about this could share too pls.

Thanks

Hello Ma'am, I think you didn't get my point.
Yes, all Mpower loan will be disbursed to the school, and the school will remove their tuition. They are obligated to give the student the remaining balance... There's nothing like a school partnering with Mpower but they can't release the living expenses, if the applicant got an approved loan that is more than the tuition costs...
For example, if you got a $20,000 loan approval, and your tuition is $15,000, there is nothing like the school won't release the remaining $5,000 to you.

In your case, if you requested for an amount more than your 2 year tuition and got approved, the remaining will be sent to your personal account after you appear in person at the bursar office in your school.

I do attend Mpower seminar online every week, and same question has been asked. The host said, all schools partnering with Mpower support it, and it's part of the things they look into before they finalize partnering with an institutions.
hello toceen, like you know a lot about mpower, please i want to know if one of the university mpower partner with is having a diploma program and i got admitted to the 2 years program of business administration (accounting) please can my loan be approved? I just want to know before i start

So i got my refusal letter on June 17, I wanted to know if i should inform my school, although i am preparing to apply for another one as i still want to resume to school by September, by God's grace.
Thank you

Firstly where are you rushing to? Baba calm down and collect you gcms first. Go and be chilling with the big boys. To submit a fantastic application late us better than submitting a shabby one. Don't inform school yet. Just relax. You go still go canada

My advise for you is focus on your career progression. You work experience overrides your academic qualifications.

I think you should go for a PGD in Banking, Finance or Financial Services etc.
Thanks a lot…I will check for the school that will easily accept my application

Based on what have been discussed on this platform in the past, FATHER, MOTHER, SIBLINGS are the best sponsors, but in the context of an Aunty as a sponsor even though she's related to your mum, she should be someone who have had an impact in your life before in terms of your progress e.g Probably paid your tuition while in school, or supported you financially one way or the other in the past, so I feel there is nothing wrong with that. There are people on this platform who have used uncles , aunties as their sponsor, so you might need to learn one or two things from them.

In her bank account, she needs to have the money for your tuition, your compulsory one year living expenses "$10,000 CAD and show the availability of your other one year expenses or how the money will be available for your one year living expenses if your program is 2-years duration.

Also she needs to show that even after portraying the capability to sponsor you, she will still have funds available in her bank account to take of herself and her family or business, so that the Visa Officer won't think all the funds in her account as a sponsor is solely for you.

Await further inputs from the gurus and other members of this platform as regards this because it's not always about the huge amount of money available, your demonstration of relationship with your aunty, and legit demonstration/proof of the funds is also very important

About Possible Documents you need from her,

- Sponsorship Letter
- Sworn Affidavit of Support
- Tuition fee Payment Receipt from School
- Telex Receipt (Tuition Payment Receipt from Bank) to the SCH.
- Sponsor's 6 months Bank Statement of Account
- Bank Reference Letter (Addressed to the High Commission of Canada)
- Sponsor's International Passport Data pages & stamped visa pages showing travel Histories (if any)
- CAC Certificate of Business Incorporation & other attached documents (if she owns a business)

You will need the following documents from her if she's a Government Staff or working in a firm, organization etc.
- Sponsor's Letter of Appointment
- Sponsor's Last Letter of Promotion
- Sponsor's Letter of Retirement (if retired from service)
- ID Card (while in Active service)
- Last Pay Slip
- Picture of her (your Aunty) and You (a picture with her as an adult & a picture of you with her as a young girl)

Once again , await further inputs from others

Regards

You need to show the following:
1. Tuition fee $36,000 (2 years).
2. Living expenses $20,000 (2 years).
3. Miscellaneous expenses $3000+
TOTAL: $59,000. (#19,765,000 @$1/335)

If this amount of money is not in your account and you have just only one-year expenses with you, the onus is on you to prove beyond reasonable doubts to convince the VO that the funds for the second year will be available and will be provided by your sponsor by either showing investments, business with good cashflow or something more. Apart from this, you must also prove that the sponsor has no responsibility on anyone else and that the funds is solely meant for your study.

In order to avoid these provings and explanations, it is better if the total fund is available.
