Many know. Yes they know but look the other side because of the huge amount of money they will collect. How can a young man drive an expensive car to your house and tells you that he is a business man and you cannot verify that by checking his physical office or his online presence?

The moment you see a yahoo guy, you will know with the way they talk. They mostly make claims they cannot defend legitimately.

So a student comes to rent house and you give him and it turns out he's into that then it's jail? How far can a landlord go in investigations legally. He should subpoena his tenants records? A bank cannot even recover your financial records without going to court. How should the landlord do it? So you don't know that this can lead to abuse?

This can even lead to exploitation and profiling, effc may ask everyone to get effc waiver before rent. Which will add to costs. Just like the nonsense scuml for business that they Did and still come and collect bribe from you to insure one to you.

I know someone his father left him 2 houses in the United States, & about 3 million dollars worth of assets (stocks, bonds, & cash in bank) he is in Nigeria now, chasing a musical career, his landlord in Nigeria will ask him to prove source of his wealth since he has no hit record?

Some of you haters will remain in abject poverty forever.
