It’s a federal university teaching hospital, and the federal government cannot provide 24 hours power supply in Neonatal and other ICU departments? What about provision of solar power? What about UPS that could sustain those infants until power is restored?

I won't advice my enemy to take any of his relatives to upth...I was there four days a ago...to save lives there is in hand of God,..we discharged my aunty there because of hospital negligence...UPTH is a death zone.

Even when govt ensures the system is working, some of these doctors and consultants will still sabotage govt effort all in a bid to continue to refer patients to their private hospitals. This is what many of them do and I stand to be corrected. They will always tell patients facilities are over-stretched or one machine is not available while they refer such patient to their own clinic. Everyone is culpable in this country and the blame should not be entirely for the govt alone.

How does that concern the matter at hand? Did the doctors lie if they say facilities are bad when simple light caused 14 babies to die?

When Amaechi built an IPP, such hospitals could have been supplied power 24/7, but FG didn't agree to local distribution.
