By the time you buy diesel at 900/liter in a week for both gen and delivery trucks or electricity bill of 100k amongst other things, nobody go tell you, you fit fire workers self. These are things people don't wanna put into cognisance.

without wasting your precious time i will cut the long story short; as the topic stated, I just got a job in a pure water factory as a Driver, after much interaction and oral interview with the manager of the factory and gave me two options to accept either he will be paying me 15k per month or in every sale I made per bag that i will be earning #4. and aside from the salary he promised of giving me #200 everyday to serve as a meal, so out of curiosity I accepted the second option which is #4 per bag... pls which is more preferable, #15k monthly or #4 per bag sold? thanks and remain blessed. I don't know why some employers are so callous. They don't care about their employees even when they are making millions daily. This is why stealing in the workplace will never end in this country. Both government and the private sector are just exploiting the masses as they like. My advice for you is to manage the 15k for the time being while looking for a better opportunity. Since the country can not pay us again for our services, I think it's high time we turn to online jobs. Freelancing is a good way to start earning money online. If you have any special skills, you can offer them online as a freelancer. Even without any special skill, if you are determined to make money online, there are a lot of gigs on Fiver to make money without any skill. You just have to model successful people offering the service and you will be successful. This is my candid advice for everyone!

We all know most employers in Nigeria are exploitive.

Even when the business is making it they will still underpay. I started from the scratch and I haved managed various business before I became my own boss so I know how most employers can be heartless.

Even some multi-millionaire companies under-pay their staff because like you they know most people do not have a choice. Same problem with some government establishment, when you find out the salary structure of some government workers you might not believe it.

There are hardly businesses in this country where the owners works more than the staff the staffs are usually laboured way above their pay.

The country is messed up because of the nature of its citizens.
