Alozie is really playing Kgatlana well.
Thats how you render her ineffective.

Chikwelu shouldn't even come in for second half
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Pidginwhisper: 6:50pm On Jul 04, 2022
There’s nothing special about our team. Southy has been the better side from the blast of the whistle. Struggling to string passes. Plumptre, Alozie,Ohala, Rashidat and Ebi have been great so far.

The coach is kinda mad for starting chikwelu. making them to play short 1. Why try to play her as attacking player when you have better alternative like ajibade and ucheibe as DM... BB having +66% of ball possession. The first in awcon match. This coach sucks actually. Same sturborn mentality like Rohr.

Disappointing first half from the falcons...
SA weren't particularly impressive either...

Both team playing with Caution cause any slight mistakes from both side anybody can score.. By the way Ashleigh Plumptre is a big win for Nigeria…

Ayinde is good but not very much effective in the game.. Coming back from ACL that take a minimum of 1year to recover isn’t easy…

The coach better bring in Ucheibe as DM remove Chikwelu..
Push Ayinde to CM or remove her and push Rasheedat there and bring in okobi…
Tony Payne isn’t in the game yet… The team Stella Mbachu

Uchiebe or regina should come in for chikwelu to free up Ajibade to support the Attack

It's even surprising to see Chikwelu playing more offensively than Ajibade...
She should come off in the second half...

She needs to be more assertive - don't think she is pulling her weight.
She is making Onumonu do more work that she ought to.

The two below average players so far are Chikwelu and then Oshoala.

Like I posited earlier, I'm more concerned about our overall play than winning. The team is clearly deficient (obviously not in talent).

Alozie, Plumptre and Onome beat players of the half.

Toni Payne with some beautiful passes

Onomonu played out of position in my opinion. Asisat many times have had to play as a line striker cause Onumonu was tracking back to defend.

Chikwelu has usually is a liability

In the 2nd half, I want to see more patient build-up with short, precise passes and fewer long balls.

Randy messed up ...
A combative DM with Ajibade and Payne in Midfield would have make more sense.
The Midfield is just disjointed.
And Ohale should stop with all those useless long balls...

Poor first half.... SMH

This coach gat no tactics atall.. It's beginning to get obvious that he cannot handle this pool of talents in this SF team..
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by olapluto(m): 6:59pm On Jul 04, 2022
Chikwelu was never going to make any impact against a top team. She's not a DM, she's not helping the attack too.
A goal to SA will expose us so bad. Just remove Chikwelu and put Okobi to force issues.

Blame him for what exactly?
Not letting Oshoala play at her optimal?
This is on Oshoala, not the coach.
