Mindlog: Look, that's a different story entirely Wether Lagos dey try or not.. My submission was, every city, country with high water level will flood.. I agree it can be managed but that they just rushed in to abuse tinubu, that doesn't make sense. Tinubu did his best, that's all.. Just as they say obi did his. So what's the noise about Tinubu? If the flood was well taken care of they will remove tinubu and tell us how it has been before Jesus came 1 Like |

Lazyreporta: For me, it is not about Tinubu because I was born and raised in Lagos though no longer reside there but very pained that LASG is still yet to get it right in flood management as I am very certain next year it is still going to be the same thing because the political will is not there! |

Everything must not politicised. Even though I am not Tinubu's fan, he is not responsible for the flooding in Lagos. Our attitude to the environment is appalling. You see a man driving an expensive vehicle throwing garbage out of the vehicle on to the road. This recklessness and stupidity also contribute to this flooding we are witnessing now. |

Lazyreporta: Don't mind these tribalistic idiots, there is no state in Nigeria where they do not experience flood from time to time but these idiots due to envy and jealousy always try to make it seem as if the problem is only present in Lagos State. Go to Garriki, Topland and Awkunanaw in Enugu state and see flood during rainy season; go to Obinagu in Awka, Anambra State and see flood ruring rainy season, go to Wetheral Road in Owerri and see flood during raining season. Go to Ado-Ekiti, Nasarawain Nasarawa State, Farin-Gada in Jos, Plateau State, Aba Road in Port Harcourt, some parts in Yola, Adamawa State, Ota and Sagamu in Ogun State etc they all have their share of floods during rainy season! |

Ordinary rain wey fall in one day every where turn to river Niger you dey here dey compare Lagos with Japan. Does Lagos have even gutter to control flood? This is what Japan does to control there flood, show me what Lagos does to control there own You must think every body buys all these lies tifnubu sell in his Lagos-ibadan brown envelop media houses Lagos just have a one day rain fall and you are calling it flood. So 3 days of run caused flood in Lagos and that makes you want to compare it with Japan? You get sense so? I asked you guys a question, show me what it is your Lagos landlord have done about it as you claimed he built Lagos from desert to ultra modern city that it is. Don't quote me again if you can't Obierika: |

Qtrpst4: You should be more concerened about the havoc the sit-at-home is wreaking on the economy of the south east instead of concerning yourself with the affairs of Lagos State. Concern yourself with the poor state of the Enugu-Onitsha and Enugu-Port Harcourt Express ways inspite of the fact that contract fpr construction of those roads have been awarded and cash disbursed 10 times over! Concern yourself with the fact that some businesses are relocating form the unfriendly business atmosphere in the south east and no businessman wants to site new a factory in that region! Concern yourself with the fact that the south east has the lowest number of registered voters of any region in Nigeria and this is one of the reasons why it cannot demand the presidency from the PDP which it has blindly supported for over 16 years! I could go on but I need to go and run my business; I'm in Lagos where there is freedom to run my business not the south east where able bodied people are forced to stay at home on a Monday the busiest day of the week! |

Qtrpst4: The happenings in Lagos should not be your business because you do not live here. Anyone who has lived in Lagos for the last 30 years will not deny the contribution Tinubu made to it's development. I have noticed that it's mostly people in the south east that tend to have deep-seated animosity and jealousy towards Lagos State instead of using the time to tackle the problems of the south east. In Lagos you can buy petrol at the official rate of N165 on a good day but in the south east a petrol station will sell petrol to you at N220 and still they will under-dispense petrol to use because they have adjusted their pumps. Most of the tertiary schools in the south east are rubbish and award their certificates on cash-and-carry basis to the highest bidder. The roads are littered with policemen and touts harassing motorists and traders for money...everything in that region is about extortion of citizens. Since they learnt about kidnapping for ransom in the south east they have taken it to a new level even more that the Niger delta militants who started it in Nigeria Mr man you need to first worry about how to 'pack the shit in your backyard' instead of giving yourself High BP because Tinubu is contesting to become president of Nigeria! 1 Like |

Obierika: That's my point but they carefully ignored their region each time I mentioned it, they concentrated on Lagos only, then compare with japan. Even when I show evidence of flood in Japan, he came up with they manage it better.. The thing here is, FLOOD, so managing na different thing entirely.. Everywhere flood in this world |

Just shut up, you can't put Lagos and Japan on the same page.as Lagos has not seen anything compared to what Japan is battling with. You can't claim your tifnubu built Lagos and ordinary 1 day rain everywhere is flooded and yet you want us to applaud him for not knowing that there is something called drainage. As for SE point one singular person coming to have built any where in the SE. You tifnubu urchin wants everyone to lick his watery pampas just because you worship him Lazyreporta: |

We had a poultry many years ago and I remember how devestating it was to come in one morning and see loads of dead chickens. In our case it was due to dissease even though they had been vaccinated. Bear in mind that there is no proper business insurance in Nigeria so once things like this happen it's a total loss. In some case the owner may even have outstanding debts. I pray the owner has the strength and support to overcome this loss. 1 Like |

It's better for you to just use your time and push your candidate otherwise if you keep worrying about Tinubu who has not done anything to you you will just develop HBP and die for nothing! |

I see some people comparing Lagos to Japan and Amsterdam and I laugh, these places are more elevated than Lagos state infact it is reported that some part of Lagos island is already few meters below sea level which means in time of flood, instead of water going into the sea, it comes to the land. The rain in Lagos fell for close to a week continuously which caused flooding in some part of the state but the main question is after the rain stopped, did the flood remain? Yes government still have a lot to same as we citizens because I know of a place we're people throw dirt's in anticipation for rain to flush it into the canal. |
