I see some people comparing Lagos to Japan and Amsterdam and I laugh, these places are more elevated than Lagos state infact it is reported that some part of Lagos island is already few meters below sea level which means in time of flood, instead of water going into the sea, it comes to the land.


The rain in Lagos fell for close to a week continuously which caused flooding in some part of the state but the main question is after the rain stopped, did the flood remain?
