Abacha is a delicacy loved by many. There are various different ways of preparing Abacha, in this video i used 'ngu' from palm fronds as the thickener. Its a healthy alternative that allows you enjoy the Abacha without upsetting your stomach especially for those with sensitive stomach.

Abacha is also known as the African salad. You can recreate this and enjoy the richness of our African heritage.
I find it funny and derogatory that we reduce our meals to nothing when compared to western states.
What is “African salad “?…

Its known as African Salad even in the market where the prepared one is being sold.

African Salad is one name I grew up knowing Abacha with. No be me name am.

And I'm talking about both you and those people you met in that market. I'm telling y'all there's nothing like African salad. Salads are made of vegetables and sometimes, fruits. You don't just call something a salad for the fun of it.

Besides, how can you say Abacha is known as African salad in the market? It's known as Africa salad by who exactly? Igbo people in the market? Where? Where is this market? Where did you grow up? I'm not being sarcastic here. I'm sincerely surprised that someone that eats abacha grew up knowing it with a different name.

Dear, abacha is abacha. Igbos eat Abacha. They are mostly the ones that buy and sell abacha. In what context would an Igbo man call his abacha a salad if not in a bid to sound western? Even if some people call it that, it doesn't make it right. An educated person should know what a salad is.

No offense intended, your abacha looks delicious.

I have eaten abacha a few times and truly, it was nutritious.

Plus the ingredients have very great benefits. For instance, the antioxidants in chili diets protect against a variety of ailments, including cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and anemia.

Not really O, I think what they do is to make the regular, ogbono and Egusi soup, add all the pepper soup spices into it, make it a little bit watery and you can eat any swallow with it, hahaha, Nigeria are indeed creative shocked
