In order of importance to me

Oparanozie
Zogg
George

The Payne sister will be at the WC. So Toni switched wings against our Archrivals and excelled. Chai

Hmmm

Esther Okoronkwo should be in your top3 pick.

Can you explain that to me pls. The spin I wrote earlier was all from my head.

All I know is that that's the format CAF adopted to determine which two teams will represent Africa in the intercontinental play off..

It seem fair...
I'm tipping Cameroon and Tunisia to go through...

.....i thought i am the only who is feeling esther game....She is tricky, and very strong on the ball, technically gifted.

Technical brilliance with the Ball Esther Okoronkwo is slight ahead of Rasheedat Ajibade..

One of the biggest miss for Nigeria in this AWCON…

She may able to cancel out MacLean but what of other forwards? Desire will need to do something extraordinary for her to get a WC spot especially when you consider she has not been exceptional for us in a while now
She doesn't need to do anything extraordinary as long as her replacement is also not doing anything extraordinary grin

Desire Oparanozie major weakness is her lack of pace which she make up for with her Robustness, hold up play, Quick feet’s, Free Kicks and finishing…

Solid performance by the team. Randy Waldrum deserves some credit too. Everyone did a great job. There were no passengers today.

Esther Okoronkwo is far above the above mentioned names in the pecking order…

Just watch their league games especially against Lyon and PSG, She’s one player than you can’t mark out no matter what, she will always make a way out… good with the ball at her feet’s., can get past her marker with her Skills, very robust and Deadly in front of goal

Battle for World Cup spot will be tough…

With this Player’s coming back to the team

Patricia George
Onyinyechi Zogg
Chinaza Uchendu
Roosa Ariyo
Desire Oparanozie
Asisat Oshoala
Esther Okoronkwo

Nigeria Superfalcons Squad depth is just top notch

Wish we had a better Coach, anyway Randy don try small at least we don qualify for WC

U should also save a spot for Flourish and co because after the U20 world cup I am sure some of them will crash in.

Esther is more important than the three of them combined. She's another Ajibade. Speed, Control, Ball sense.

Oparanozie will cancel out macleans with immediate effect. As George/Zogg against the two Ogbonnas. Time will tell how it goes. The Ogbonnas have not really made impact though.

The 1 game for the team is why i haven't really rated her per se. We'll see sha.

Ucheibeeeeeeeeeeee is a baller..

Ball retention, Distribution, Good tackling, as a Box-to-Box Midfielder and great Composure, She's such an Energetic Player who cover a lot of ground for her team mates...

It's good Randy finally does what's good..
I believe she will gel well with Ayinde very soon.

Again Coach Randy shouldn't be playing Rita Chikwelu even she's one of those Midfielder that can keep the ball very well.. The pace of the modern game is no longer there, She can come in maybe at 85minutes to add numbers to her Cap.. Let her experience speak from the Bench.

Main lapse. Our pass accuracy dropped seriously. I'll be waiting to see if that repeats against Morocco.
I think they were tensed and it affected them. But Cam ia gone, they can return to normal calmness. But its still a major issue to me. That aspect needs focus. It was a big undoing at 2019. It should not be this time.

You mean 1 game for Nigeria or what?

Maybe Maclean's Chinonyerem?

Esther Okoronkwo Played the 3 games at the Summer Series last year, Played the 2leg against CIV at the AWCON qualifying game...

She did well in France this past season even though it was her first Season going Pro..

Sure.... like I said, Ucheibe is Kante and Ndidi rolled into one. Girl was everywhere. The only one giving it to the cameroonians on the physical front.

She really helped Ayinde on this. Else

Onumonu was kinda sluggish...
Alozie losing concentration...
Ebi looking shaky...
No plan be for Ucheibe and Ayinde...
Okobi losing many balls in the middle...
Some clearances were not done well too. That Okobi game eh. The build up to goal has covered it, else, its a poor game for her prior to that goal dash.

Hahaha... I laugh in Spanish.
There's no way new players won't claim a spot going to the World Cup.. After the AWCON doesn't who didn't participate will be fighting to become regular in the team, those with few minutes at the AWCON will try and double up just for them to keep up with a spot in the team.. Going to the World Cup is a different Ball game.

Randy will definitely stick to most of the players he used at the AWCON but those who didn't participate still have 100% chance to come in

Okobi is sometimes like that, one pass or movement from her fiammmm, will cover up all her lapses...

2014 AWCON final she was dribbling past the Cameroonian players and they brought her down close to the box, Oparanozie stepped up and converted the resulting free Kick..

No need to include the 2015 World Cup performance.. you all already know

2016 AWCON final, her delivering from the right with her left foot was deflected to the path of Desire Oparanozie and she scored...

2018 AWCON final against South Africa her Long pass to Ordega resulted to the Penalty which Asisat Oshoala missed...

Now the Quarter final game against Cameroon again...

This refiloe Jane girl soo good sha...see her through balls today mehn....overall we should be beating SA but I have to give it to them...so far they have been the most organised team in terms of playing style
For this tournament, if Refiloe Jane is on that list, especially for her performance in this competition, how much more Ajibade that outperformed all 4 of them, both at club level and here at this tournament. SA first test will be the Zambians. They lack finishing and I'd love to watch that match. Want to see Chanda vs Jane.

GOOD NEWS!

The 4 nations eliminated in the #WAFCON2022 quarterfinals will meet in a Repêchage where two winners advance to the inter-confederation playoffs of 10 nations for 3 available World Cup slots.

I hope its an advantage in New Zealand sha. I'll need her to sync with the othe two that are already playing like they're meant for each other.

What's your view on the lack of crosses from the wingers vs Cam?

The coach is lucky he is finally playing Christy consistently cos I have been saying this for long but to tell the truth she was even better than advertised.
