Your Lewandowski money is what will fund this transfer. You paid €50m and gave a 34 year old a 4 year deal.

De Ligt is just 22. Big difference

We paid 45 ,he can be 50 years old for all I care ,lewandowski no be your regular player ,if you Dey call Messi and Ronaldo and him follow them for back ,he took a huge pay cut to join us as his salary will keep decreasing year by year .

Bayern cannot be claiming to be smart in business but keep overpaying for defenders who aren’t even world class ,same Bayern used James for 2 years loan and refused to purchase him saying he is too expensive

De ligt is not even among top 5 seria A CB ,and yes he is 22 and he can either improve or remain stagnant.

Let pretend like it's not the same Chelsea who just bought a 30yr old Koulibaly for 40m or a reserve keeper for 70m

This same club spent 100m on Lukaku and by 6months he dey chop bench and after 12months offloaded

I can't think of a bigger waste of money in football history than Lukaku

Theo Hernandez?
Coutinho?
Griezmann?
Joao Felix?
Harry Maguire?
Neymar?

Bayern is not in the business of buying and selling for profit. We buy to win titles. It's bad belle doing Chelsea who have 70m Kepa on their bench

They begged to sign Deligt and he told them he preferred Bayern the rejection like from Raphinha is making them yarn rubbish
De ligt became forcing a move the moment Chelsea became interested and the promise of improving and becoming a better CB, Bayern came knocking telling him he is not good enough and should choose the easier league and more money. Chelsea didn't feel he was worth more than 60m but you guys are paying 80m for him

But this explanation will fly over your head like every sensible thing that concerns Chelsea

You will always win titles like bundesliga and DFB pokal without even buying

To get an idea of how much and for how long Sterling had been open to a new challenge, it is worth acknowledging that he sat down with City officials last autumn and asked for a loan move, knowing that Barcelona had been interested in his services.

City would have been happy in principle to extend his deal beyond its expiry in 2023. As it was, that scenario coming to pass had felt less and less likely over the past 18 months.

Retreat, briefly, to early 2021 when, with two and a half years to run on his contract, the club had first floated the idea of an extension. The player had recently split with his agent Aidy Ward, the man who had smoothed that controversial £49 million move from Liverpool in the summer of 2015, and asked for time to put some personal affairs in order — a request City respected.

In the ensuing months, Sterling became less of a regular fixture in the City side. Having been one of Guardiola’s go-to men during back-to-back Premier League winning seasons in 2017-18 and 2018-19, he had quietly slipped down the pecking order, much to his frustration. There was an exchange of views with Guardiola before a game against Southampton at the Etihad Stadium, with Sterling’s name conspicuous by its absence from the starting line-up.

After that match, which the hosts won 5-2 with Sterling unused off the bench, Guardiola sent a veiled message via the press. “The players who help me a lot this season I will rotate less,” he said. “The rest will be on the bench.” Sterling was left out of the squad altogether for the next fixture, a comfortable win at struggling Fulham.

At that stage, Guardiola had established nine or 10 go-to players for the biggest games, whether domestic or in European competition, and what was effectively a second string who would play when the first-choice players needed a rest. Sterling suddenly belonged to the latter.

(After reading this, you remember that pep has always been vicious when he chooses to be.)

Indeed, had a significant offer been lodged with the club last summer, Sterling’s stint in Manchester might have ended.

Barca had lodged an enquiry, establishing interest to prompt that subsequent conversation about a loan move. But over the course of the autumn, the Catalan club had changed tack and, instead, moved for Ferran Torres, another player dissatisfied with life on the fringes of Guardiola’s squad.

Sterling had worked his way back into the City team by then and was the Premier League player of the month for December — the only City player to win the award last season. That upturn in form and fortunes provoked some talk that he was ready to put pen to paper on a new deal after all, though sources close to him insisted he was acutely aware that injuries and COVID-19 had offered him that swift route back into contention. He knew a truer indication of his standing in the squad would come later in the season.

Once again, he ended up deflated at his level of involvement.

The keeper should be flogged for letting such a slow pass from that distance creep in. Maybe he was playing odds
I was even surprised that the keeper let that ball slide in. That pass wasn't played hard that much

"Presnel Kimpembe is intrigued by a move to Chelsea but PSG boss Christophe Galtier has told the defender it's his decision even if a fee is agreed.

Chelsea will hold further talks regarding Presnel Kimpembe and Jules Kounde next week.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel 'really wants' to sign Jules Kounde but negotiations are complicated."

"Chelsea have made a £40million offer for PSG centre-back Presnel Kimpembe and are back in talks with Sevilla over Jules Kounde.

PSG are believed to be willing to sell Kimpembe for somewhere in the region of £42m. Juventus are also in discussions with the Ligue 1 champions over a move for the 26-year-old, who has 28 caps for France."

Stop asking silly questions, Liverpool and City have Salah and Halaand respectively, that are deadly in front of goals. Continue being content with mediocrity.

How many of our forward are you confident of enough of guaranteing at least 15 league goals?
you're stupid enough not to realise that Salah isnt a striker and Haaland just joined city, but not surprised. It's just puzzling that there are more stupid people like u on NL that agree with your fo.olishness and low iq

" Armando Broja has left the Chelsea pre-season camp and is on his way back to England tonight. Clubs still pushing to sign him.

Billy Gilmour and Harvey Vale have left the Chelsea first-team group - and are potentially joining up with the Dev Squad.

But Barkley and Batshuayi - whom they should've left in Vegas - are still with the team

Some players are bad at choosing clubs. De Ligt is tailor made for clubs like Barca,Bayern and current City not the likes of Juventus, Chelsea etc. He just stagnated his growth going to Seria A from Ajax.
