Kobojunkie: Since I have known soya milk I only see people take it for refreshment Never seen it being used for cereal, tea or garri We usually know dairy milk as milk 3 Likes 1 Share |

illicit:Probably because it isn't being marketed as a milk alternative or the quality doesn't allow for it to be effectively sold as such. 1 Like |

Kobojunkie: Yeah I think it's about packaging Because in quality, there's not much difference Kunu has much protein and it has the capacity to fill the tummy unlike milk The kunu made from millet has a lot of protein, infact its basically protein 3 Likes |

Kobojunkie: Nigerian cow milk is not the same as foreign I hope u know we have local peak milk and Holland peak milk Holland peak milk is better and costs more than Nigerian peak milk But then I do drink raw cow milk, I don't think it's better than kunnu, both Aya and millet The best thing is that it's not dilluted, it's sweeter and fresher than canned milk, it's more filling just like kunu 2 Likes |

Kobojunkie: Ok Raw milk is almost the same as kunnu Only thing is that it's fresher, pure and natural |

illicit: No difference. Why Holland is costly is largely due to the exchange rate coupled with the fact that it will be taxed since it's imported. 1 Like |

illicit: There are about 5 types of Kunu. Kunu jeda (groundnuts) Kunu jigafa or so (rice) Kunu Aya (tiger nuts) And others I have forgotten Usually, the Kunu jeda is a combination of groundnuts and rice (my daily breakfast with okpa); I used to prepare the Kunu myself... Courtesy of my then roommate from Borno. Some class of Kunu, you cook overnight but not the brukutu own. I used to drink all while serving in Taraba state 9 Likes 1 Share |

Parachoko:Of course. Kunu is a general name. Then attached to the "Kunu" are names of the source. For example, Kunu jeda, is Kunu made from groundnuts. I hope you are not referring to the raw cow milk that Fulani women do sell...that they usually stir it before pouring a portion into small plates for their customers, especially in the camps. That one is not Kunu. I have forgotten the name. 2 Likes |
