Jephyard: I can see you're not wise. We're saying it's okay to reject an offer you feel substandard but not call-out. Use your senses Why didn't she reject from the first day. If she's rejecting, calling out deems unecessary. She needs to just move on Of course. Your kinds make it sound easy. I can't work this, I can't work that. Create a business if it's easy |

If the accommodation was that important to the chef. S/he should have asked to see it before accepting the offer. Most BQ apartment in Ikoyi or Phase 1 for terrace apartment share kitchen and toilet. The apartment is never going to be the Hilton hotel. In any case, they fired the chef because there are lots of people who would take the job. This calling out is unnecessary. S/he is not Gordon Ramsay and is likely to get negative results from this rant. Who would want to employ a domestic staff that may air you on Linkedin over a disagreement? |

GardenGreen: I won't result to insult but how I wish you know what I stand for. I resign from my work place in 2016 or 2017 can't really remember the year cos of condition that was not stated in my contract. I will state the company name for you to walk down there yourself to ask about me from the CEO (He is into politics now and please provide your mail i will send you the address of where I worked and asked about me from the CEO himself) Today the kind of respect I earn just standing for what is in my contract or common sense at workplace no be small because I stood my ground. I understand you lack self worth even if you understand what that even mean thats for another matter. You employed a staff who saw the accommodation in bad state decide to fix it even using her own money and then it made it known to the firm about it that they should fix a part of it twice and which they didn't and decided to sack her without being paid for the time being and for freaking 5 days before she blew the whistle. Abeg bros who wise between the two of us cos I want to know how do you lay someone off without paying her immediately. Please I want to learn cos if nah me own you money and I didn't pay you at stipulated time as at when due that your hand go dey type all over nairaland say I be fraud. 3 Likes |

Jephyard: Yawns. Typing all your tedious soliloquies doesn't mean anything. You're one of those who think they're all that and are nothing. Absolutely nothing. Create your own company. Employ 10-20 person's. Pay salaries and bear the burden of the cost of running em enterprise, and you'll speak less brash. Adios |
Re: How A Company In VI Treated Her New Chef Staff by GardenGreen: 4:57pm On Jul 21, 2022 |
Asour: Yawns. It's easier said. Create jobs and ploy people. Bear the burden of running costs, rising inflation, competitive market, low patronage. You'll understand that running a business isn't for smooth talkers |

GardenGreen: I am NOT a smooth talker. Employers like you are great (You grow trade). I'm in no way diminishing your courage. You guys make things happen. However, IT IS BECAUSE you can't do it alone Efficiently that you employ others (they too benefit from your job) and both parties smile home. Quote me anywhere YOU started your business to make profit. NOT to employ employees. 1 Like |

GardenGreen: You pay them not as a favour but because they give you the millions! Let's make a deal. Fire them all for a month let's see if you can make the same Sales volume. If you do the above, then you're right. Otherwise, again they're valuable and not being helped. You're certainly not in my league. In fact I should probably stop wasting your time. 2 Likes |

tegrianonigltd: Google don make you lose sight of existence outside Google..anyway since they bought your soul for am affordable 4M per month, it's understandable to want to " Google " life and see it as your psychological funnel of human existence into life on earth. Anyways. A slave is always a slave..be it a cheap or an expensive one..one slave gets bought at 40M per.month and the slave relishes it same way a 20 dollars slave would relish his small wins Again I say, there are realms and dimensions in life that dwarfs what one calls huge As for video calls. My dear. It's a deal. But at my time..na that one sweet me pass. Make we carry the bugs enter higher realms since you no dey gre bow. But when I choose the day and time..before we do am. Do you mean to tell me that you would live in such a condition as this, share that tiny bathroom and toilet with 6 pple nd be comfortable, if u are filthy enough to stay in there, well good for u, its different for ladies who are very vulnerable to infections of all sorts, so chill your nerves bruh, she has the right to demand for a better place GardenGreen: 1 Like |

GardenGreen: It's a shame on you. That the innovation will come from the employee to fix the apartment from the sorry state it is in. The employee is not lazy. She's willing to do her job professionally. So her employer should do his part. If that were to be his kitchen will he eat anything cooked from there? I can't imagine how you think employers should continue to treat fellow Nigerians as slaves in their own country. Where is the human dignity in this kind of apartment?! If an employee decides to rent this then it's the person's choice as that's what she can afford. Not an employer choking this down anyone' s throat. The accommodation is supposed to be an attraction for the job which caught her attention in the first place. Not some slave mentality. 2 Likes |
