Lol...you seriously can't be making this a point sha Presidential candidates in saner climes make themselves as accessible as possible, even going to universities and house to house to converse with potential electorates. Na Nigeria presidential candidate dey do big man thing. Thank God for the likes of Peter Obi who are gradually changing the narrative and teaching us to demand certain standards from those who want to govern...it will get better. Theflint1: He is an astute politician and knows how the game is been played even if it will get dirty. Anyone that wants to be objective will know northerners will preferably favour Atiku, given his antecedents and a lot of baggage associated with APC, gale of defections, and many non-partisans electorates rejecting muslim/muslim APC might have problem usurping Atiku in the north. PO has chances but very slim and that will depend on what happened between now till election month. Seriously Atiku win will be a setback and will plunge this country into the same cabals and elite politicians that have held this country down for long and it will be a clear shortchange to the southerners. His only advantage against Tinubu is been "more healthier" and nothing else. 3 Likes |

Oasis007: Quite agree with you. A Presidential material in this country must not be cheap for the media to be dragging upandan He should either be ruling from the middle east, or pursing a medical degree abroad. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Atiku has been pretty consistent with his ideologies for years now - devolution of powers, state policing and private sector-driven economic reform, these are the things we value down South. Also, he wields the most influence amongst the political class, the kind of influence needed to make necessary changes...our politicians are not going anywhere, and whoever wins come 2023 will have to make certain negotiations with them otherwise they'd frustrate the person's government. Another thing is the kind of changes a country like Nigeria needs will rile the North but if it's coming from one of them, they'd swallow these changes more easily. las las the candidate that represents the ideal might not be the candidate we need now. Theflint1: When I was younger, I used to remember OBJ having this Presidential Media chat. I also remember Goodluck too (But I can't remember if I watched any on Yar'adua) Buhari entered and his followers told us it didn't matter. Maybe if we had listened to him quarterly, we would understand the cluelessness hovering over us. Now, na make Presidential hopeful no dey accessible to him own people. God go give me visa, make I leave both Nigerian leaders and the people itself 8 Likes 4 Shares |

izzou: I am seeing Zack Orji abi wetin be that bearded man name but after you will hear no SE actors are supporting Tinubu. Seriously no one should reduce the election to tribal contest, that's too low but unfortunately that is exactly the sentiments people are trying to whip up. |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 1:55pm On Jul 22, 2022 |
Agadinaagwuofe: I even see it as senselessness to gather actors or musicians for their support. Na just to waste money. They have none: They would give you only their votes. It is who feeds you that you will listen to. MCOluomo can promise Tinubu votes, and I'll believe because people are looking up to him for their daily bread. There are others like that too No actor or musician is feeding any crowd. It's just likes and vibes on SM. They can't influence shi-shi. Portable can have 2 million views on YouTube, but he can't mobilize 200k voters on D-day No brainer 9 Likes 3 Shares |
