Warcraft is fantasy. Gladiator was set in 180 AD. Thats about 320 years before the start of the medieval period. PoP and CotT is also fantasy but a bit relatable.

Making a woman James Bond will destroy the legacy of 007 bond and will be a slap on the faces of all previous male actors.
I am glad even popular female Hollywood actresses have spoken against the idea.

Batgirl was in Batman and Robin (1997). Supergirl had a 1970s movie and a major feature in the Smallville TV series. That's aside all their numerous appearances in animated media. And again, IN. THE. COMICS.

You obviously are a casual even among casuals to have missed all that. And that's ok. Just chill with all the agenda accusations if you're not familiar with the source material.

I definitely grew up as a kid knowing Supergirl, Batgirl and Batwoman, Hawk Girl, Wonder Woman, Zatanna and Black Canary even without reading the comics. I know how much I anticipated the animated Justice League series on STV back in the days. Especially on Fridays. I knew most of these characters without even knowing of the comics then.

I wasn't deep into it like that.
I was solely interested in jet li, Jackie Chan, commando, Steven seagal, chuk noris, van dam and co.

So yeah there was no way i would have known but do you think making a woman James bond is the right move?
