You are right about people being dissatisfied no matter the action or inaction by pastors. But that is life.

Every Nigerian is a stakeholder that reserves the right to voice out and even take action within his constitutional right if danger is perceived in whatever form.

While a lot of people may find it difficult to understand, some men of God will only speak on Tinubu if they have the conviction (as led by the spirit) to speak. Others may even find it hard because Tinubu’s antecedents puts him in a favorable place when juxtaposed with regularly preached messages.

For instance, Tinubu lifts others without grudge. He forgives easily when wronged and even brokered the family reconciliations and posthumous recognition of MKO Abiola as president over June 12 election crisis. He returned the mission schools to their original owners. His wife is a pastor in one of the biggest church denominations in the world. Too many boxes ticked to waive him off easily as Trojan horse. Administratively, he ran a complex state like Lagos without federal allocation for years without strikes and degradation of the state (not sure any other governor would have been able to do that successfully). That is no ordinary feat any spiritual father will easily ignore.

Notwithstanding, the stiff competition in the political space is very welcome and encouraged to stamp out complacency and impunity.

And whoever is moved to speak as a pastor should do so without let or hinderance because it is his right and he has a responsibility to ensure that he that must come to equity must come with clean hands, at least as much as it is practicable.
