My questions are as follows:

1) Why a Muslim-Muslim ticket? Isn't that insensitive? Even Muslims are surprised at his audacity.

Northern Nigeria is noted to be majority Muslim. Tinubu as a Yoruba Muslim becomes a minority religious wise when the entire south is considered. Either ways there was going to be a repercussion for Tinubu’s candidature- because he is a Muslim which goes against the norm of Christian majority South and Muslim majority North. All the same, it is insensitive in the moral scheme of things. It actually irks me, and even makes me to sit further neutral on the fence.

2) Is rulership the birthright of APC?

Absolutely not. That is why the people will have the last say this time around- thanks to the new electoral law. However, the competition must be highly promoted to really return the power to the people across all the divides. People must work with others different from them to form an acceptable government.

3) When will Mr Tinubu clear all the allegations against him? Drug charges, money laundering, school certificate saga...too many loopholes

Although some of the allegations appear to have been debunked/clarified by relevant government agencies of the west as have been reported that Tinubu has no criminal record against him in the US. Nonetheless, Nigerians reserve the right to institute and pursue each case further until its logical conclusion both locally and internationally. Other allegations against other candidates should be accorded the same treatment for fairness and equity.

4) At this point in time, do we need a president who isn't 100% physically fit?

Health grounds is my biggest worry about a Tinubu presidency even if he looks to be improving over the days and weeks progressively. However, I must confess that his not-so-common capacity to increase revenue from mediocre or non performing sources in Lagos (from 600m monthly to at least over 1,500% increase monthly) is much too enticing for me to concede easily on his health grounds without utmost certainty of incapacitation. Unless of course he is battling something very debilitating conditions that would grow worse quickly. The courts could be approached to reveal what’s wrong with him for the benefit of the citizens if permissible.

5) Why hasn't Mr Tinubu granted any media outlet, even his beloved TVC, interviews?

Well, some of the things he said in the past are currently being used against him. I implore you to go and watch his acceptance speech on the night that he emerged APC presidential candidate. He sounded very much to be thinking-outside-of-the-box. Don’t take my word for it- go and check it out.

Finally, I have come to appreciate that most of his methods sometimes sound unintelligent at first, but on closer look, I have been able to see his viewpoint based on his experience and antecedents. Ultimately, the choice of the next leader is left to the people who must scrutinize each candidate based on their antecedents, robust thought process, and capacity for solving problems in a permanent fashion. This will be my own standard considering where Nigeria is at currently.

For your information, Muslims alone cannot produce the president of Nigeria. If people vote according to their faith, Peter Obi will win this election before 12:00 o clock. There are more christain majority states in Nigeria than Muslim-majority states. Stop hyping the Northerners. If they can produce the president alone, Buhari would have won in 2011.

There is no northern states without indigenous christain population. Kaduna, Adamawa, and Gombe has nearly 50 per cent christain population. Plateau, Taraba, and Benue are states with christain-majority but are all lumped into North. All Northern states, include Borno, Yobe, Zamfara, Katsina, and Sokoto have indigenous christain population. With the exception of Edo, I don't even know any state in the South South and South East with an indigenous Muslim community. I am from Delta State. There is no indigenous Muslim community in the whole of Delta State. Not one.

The only reason for this affront on christainity is because christains don't vote naturally. But with this Muslim Muslim ticket, expect a lot of voter's turn out from christains in this election. APC are aware of this. That is why they arrange the charade of christain bishops to create the impression that christains are in support of Muslim Muslim ticket. I am glad the church is getting involved in politics. Let the encourage all their members to get their PVC and vote or else christainity will become a second class religion in Nigeria.
