First of all, big shout to Wavvyyyyy for the inspiration to do this and most importantly to GOD for everything else. A little backstory to my weeding story .... Funny enough, I'm still stuck with the last roll as I'm typing this... It was one of those days with my then crazy lady who wanted to try out new things or let me say let's be adventurous for a while yunno. A few call here and there, and the plug came through with a crispy sativa neatly wrapped, paid him and thank him for a good service rendered, little did I know I'd be on a never ending journey of blazing. We blazed all through that Friday night, the consolation was the jollof rice and the half bottle of whisky to go. Truth be told, the experience was out of this world until it became an habit and I was hooked. Even at work, I'd take break just to blaze, it get to a point I was looking haggard, like life was ready to be sniffed out of my body. Relationships lost, became withdrawn, roll with mints, mouth sprays, deodorants of different type, and heavy smelling bathing bars just to hide those smell like that wasn't enough valuable contacts went down the drain and all the negativity attached to it. Currently, I'm still battling the addiction, dad had to intervened by making me go back to the Northside but still I found a way to get a never ending supply of weed. Asibinau, I might delete the number of that plug sef Lass lass, the banny wey bam me left me in the act and I'm here battling it all alone.... So as the topic entails, the goal is to break free from weeding and possibly share ideas on how to come clean. I'd be highlighting three steps and I believe firmly that I'll conquer this demon. Below are the steps: 1. Write about what triggers the act. 2. Write about how to go about eliminating or let say reducing those triggers. 3. Set out with a defined course of action....... 2 Likes |

Mine started in 2016,that time I was addicted to virtual bets, I lost a lot to bet9ja baby games , there was a particular day I lost my boss money, I can’t remember the exact amount but it was more than 50k.. I needed something to boast my confidence to ginger me to lie to him. I went to meet my best friend then who’s a regular stoner and he introduced me to weed, he even gave me the lies to tell my boss then. I smoked and went to meet my boss afterwards and he bought the lies , ever since then I got hooked, in 2017 I traveled to another state and I stopped smoking, gambling and other vices I indulged in. Early 2018, my friend who introduced me to smoking needed a place to stay and he came over to me and that’s how my misery started. We would smoke everyday, my whole word revolve around getting high. There was a time we went to an occasion in another state and smoked, man! The weed was too good, we bought some when we’re leaving and get the dealer’s number, the dealer will package the weed and send it through all this bus driver until one day when the driver was caught with weed by the police.. ever since then we would travel all by ourselves to get the weed, we did this for some months before we stopped because if we’re caught , it won’t be funny for us.. Last year, I decided I have to stop smoking as I’m already becoming a shadow of my self, I started avoiding people, always tired , have this junkie-like face and my self confidence took a big hit. My friend and I stopped staying together, I started a new life but I wasn’t able to keep up, I relapsed after a month , I saw my friend some months back and he told me he has stopped smoking for 11 months. When I got home, I cried and decided to stop but it was short lived , I relapsed after some weeks again.. I’ll try as much as I can to break free from this addiction now .. I didn’t smoke yesterday so today is my day 2 and I’ll update my progress on this thread Big shout out to lagbajatheberean for creating this thread, we somehow had a similar story 7 Likes 1 Share |

Wavvyyyyy:It was you who actually pushed me to create this thread and I appreciate. I quit the betting lifestyle earlier this year after I lose couple of bucks buying sure games and staking high, I even join all this telegram and WhatsApp groups just to recoup some of the funds but boss, nobody tell me when I see say my tickets wey cut pass the one wey enter. Funny enough, na weed I take chest the whole situation then. But guy man still loose guard o. I had to take a wrap in the morning due to the lazy man rain falling since 4am. After the nonsense, I had to flush the remaining. Hopefully, that will be the last one. I'll start the journey tomorrow and hopefully, this want would be for the best.. |
