Is affidavit needed? what of notary (I don't want to do this because it is expensive, they usually want to collect 10%-20% of the cost of the asset)? Do i need to change the name on the document to mine? Who should sign? And any information you think I might need for asset gift deed?

For a gift of deed or gift deed, u need to authorize it by a legal practitional most important the federal high court. Also u need to notorize it after the deed has been signed and approved. This is to show that the document with you is the same as the original signed document by the high court.

The Journey started on the 5th of October 2021, when I put in an SOWP application for my wife and the wait started. At fist it took more than 24 hours to get a fingerprint request form IRCC it was then I knew I was in for a long wait. We did upfront medical which was not even opened or even acknowledged until January 10th, 2022. Before the medical was updated to passed, I was furious that nothing was happening on my wife’s application, so I reached out to the MP of my province. This I think was the best thing I did. The MP was very helpful, and it was not until he reached out to them before the medical was updated to passed. Apparently, he called and told me that they had been working on my application just that they weren’t updating on my wife’s GC key portal. After another two months -March I reached out to the MP again and this was when he came back to tell me that Eligibility review has started which I did not get an update again. At this point I was a bit relieved that after this eligibility then nothing left. Waiting was killing but being optimistic was relieving. Then I spoke to a friend turned brother which I met on this platform we spoke and encouraged each other. He advised I kept disturbing them with emails and webform which I obliged. At the end of May I reached out to the MP to make inquiry on my behalf which he did and told me that the eligibility was passed. It was at this moment that I increased the frequency of my email to Abuja and Nairobi as well as telling my wife to do the same thing. On June 30 they dropped correspondence letter without PPR. I started firing them with email and webform. On July 7 my wife received the PPR.

To everyone here I say a big thank you and to friends expecting PPR may the good lord grant your heart desires soonest.

Wife got approved for SOWP and daughter got visitor visa. Issue is I have a little more than one month left on my study permit. My international passport expires in about one year when I got the study permit for a two year MSc programme. I have applied for extension of study permit.

Please, I want to know if wife and daughter can travel to Canada without any issue. More importantly, I want to know if I can book a one-way flight ticket.

The other question has to do with IRCC POE letter of introduction (LOI). Wife has gotten LOI from the IRCC since Thursday but our daughter is yet to receive her LOI. Please, I want to know if this is not an issue.

Application timeline;
November, 2021: Application submitted with upfront medicals for wife only as the document checklists says.
December 2021: Biometric capturing for wife only
Early June 2022: IRCC send medical requests for wife and daughter.
Late June 2022: Medicals done by gate crashing at IOM. IOM advised wife to also do new medicals because IRCC insists on it.
July, 2022; Medicals passed and passport request.

On your wife sowp and daughters VV u need ur daughters LOI because she wont be allowed to enter without that. Now on ur study permit i will advice u focus on the extension more keenly infact i believe ur spouse should get less than 1month sowp too and at dat u need to keep mailing IRCC explaining ur situation and seeking for quick help on the LOI thing so that ur spouse and daughter can come in asap. It is easier and faster to renew sowp in canada than to reapply from nigeria. My 2cents

When is her studies finish? If she has more study time she can go to her IRCC portal and extend her study permit. But it takes some time so let the spouse submit her passport for stamping she will most likely get 8months sowp too and whe the spouse enter canada she can get a longer sowp too

Once u get ur extended study permit. You can take her to the boarder to get an extended sowp

Ur kid does not need cash to go to school until college or university level. Up to high school its kind of free so no need to show proof for her education. It is adviceable u show full tuition payment for your spouse before you apply it show financial buoyancy

Thats general each province has their own ooo. Quebec is more expensive. For quebec that quotation is what is obtainable. Also their is no crime making the money 1k each more it helps proof financial capability.

Not compulsory at all. It's actually up to you. The PA can book first then Spouse can book later. Upfront is just to safe the stress of looking for a closer date when IRCC request for medical.

Be that as it may, please note that all applications now are made online, hence no requirement to submit physical passport photographs. You will only upload soft passport photographs where needed.
