You left state money in the bank simply because your nature do not permit you to put into better use the resources of the state. For the fact that he left unspent money doesn't make him not corrupt, it only shows how someone out of too much stinginess refuse to judiciously make use of Anambra state money for the benefits of the people. Is he telling us that he solved all the problem of Anambra people to a point that there is nothing left to do for Anambra.
We don't need a president that we keep our money in the face of inadequate infrastructure and almost collapsed economy. We need a president that we be bold enough to make use of our resources for a clear transformation. Obi should not be voted president because he refuse to spend money, he should not be voted on sympathy. He has not shown us what his plans are for the Nigerian people, he is merely seeking for sympathy. In as much as the present leadership has performed below expectation, it will be foolish for Nigerians to give way to someone who does not have a clear leadership appeoch to the present predicament we find ourselves as a nation.
Managing a business is different for managing a nation. EVERY SENSIBLE GOVERNMENT HAS ITS AGENDA ON RESUMPTION HE JUDICIOUSLY HANDLE THE STATE RESOURCES, HE DID NOT OVERBLOATED CONTRACT AND STANDARD OF LIFE WAS HIGH IN ANAMBRA AT THAT TIME,HE CLEARED TOUT,BUILD INFRACTURES, RURAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH ESTATE DEVELOPMENTS, ETC AT A MINIMAL COST. HE REMOVE UNNECESSARY INFLATION OF PRICES TO SETTLE ON PERSON TO GET CONTRACT AND HE WAS ABLE TO SAVE MONEY FOR THE NEXT GOVERNMENT. IN A SAME CLIME, THIS IS THE NORM. So if tomorrow after development of Abuja as FCT, and the capital is moved out of Abuja, one Northern Governor of Abuja state will come and claim he developed Abuja? Are you people for real? What did Tinubu build in Lagos. Under his Administration Molue was in vogue, Lagos was very dirty, agbero held sway. Jakande has more credit in improving Lagos than Tinubu. Why Fashola was hailed when he took over was BC Tinubu did nothing, so the little Fashola did was like miracle. If Tinubu tried in Lagos, Fashola won't be known. Stop rewriting history. Many of us were in Lagos during Tinubu administration.
