Co-host ?

What a shame!

So Nigeria can't host this tournament alone ? And Why?

Because we don't have substantial equipments to solely host it , That's why they want to merge with another country, it's pitiful to hear Amaju utter these words, he hasn't made the Nigeria NFPL a big thing, the league is Still mismanaged.

That should be his Priority or he should step down asap! Bunch of clowns ruling.
This is wrong...... America, Canada and Mexico are going to co host 2026 world cup.... can't one of them host it alone ?

Those countries are co-hosting it not because they' aren't capable of hosting it alone, they're doing it for unity, peace, love and some other beneficial purposes. Nigeria is co-hosting because they don't have anything! No money to fund anything!

You're Talking as if you're not a Nigerian or don't live here

Nigerian or the NFF has Nothing to offer, nothing at all, how many stadiums do we have in Nigeria that can host a popular tournament like this.

Amaju should rest abeg!

Nigeria is too insecure to hold a tournament of that magnitude.

Even if you restrict the tournament to the South, it is still not safe.

We are not ready, that’s the fact!

We would have to spend money, money that can be useful in other sectors and our infrastructures, abeg!

Make we focus on other important things jare

I said what I said

stadia in south south and south west will co-host. so its possible to co-host as security oin that region is not as bad as north

For those of you that don't understand what Pinnick is trying to say is that come next year when Peter Obi would have become president, before 2025 the issues ravaging the country would have been successfully dealt with and rebuilding the country and putting it back to the enviable position she belongs to would have been on going. NFF will be using the co-hosting of the AFCON as a way in which sport can also contribute to the giant strives Peter Obi will be having on Nigeria in general. Therefore it is a welcome development and we look forward to co-hosting the tournament with Benin. But for all these to happen, good citizens of the country must come out en-mass and forget about tribe or religion and vote massively for Peter Obi so that the Nigeria we all clamour for can begin.
God bless Nigeria
God bless Nigerians
God bless our incoming President Peter Obi

MEANWHILE: My household, friends and I are all OBIdients

VOTE MASSIVELY FOR PETER OBI. 2023 ASO ROCK is POssible

In saner climes, Amaju Pinnick would have been booted out of that position. He's such a big failure. Nigerian football has not fared well under him. He also so corrupt, employing and hiring incompetent foreign coaches because of the cut they get from the deal.

If we do it with business concept, it will help the economy. Sports till remain the biggest business in the world.
AFCON brings the biggest tourism in Africa. It is just planing. We are having youth restiveness just because we are not a sporting Nation.

paulolee:
Nigeria with rising poverty, bad economy and increasing insecurities do not need such duty...I know 2025 is far bt we need to work on our economy than thinking about hosting AFCON..
allow other African economy that is better n stable than us to do the hosting...
sporting wise we have less than 5 standard pitch in the whole of Nigeria, I hope de aint planning to play AFCON on synthetic plastic turf that would disgrace us wen rain falls like it happened d last time we hosted u-17 world cup...
