Hi everyone After a successful 6 months standard visitor visa application, can the individual subsequently apply for 5 years renewal or must it be 2 years? Thanks |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Nobody: 10:43am On Jul 30, 2022 |
Ralphlauren:If you read this thread backward to 170, their is a certain individual that did the most unimaginable and got 5 yrs. YES only you can encourage yourself in that quest. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Jbab: 10:47am On Jul 30, 2022 |
Ralphlauren: You can apply for 5years after you have used the first 6months visa but the risk is high, I have seen two applicants issued 2years visa when they applied for 5years visa and I have read about applicants who were issued 10years visa after there 2years visa expired. Sometimes the ECO used there discretion to issue such visas once the applicant meet the requirements of a frequent Traveller and financial stability. to be on the safer side of the UK application history, just apply in sequence of,2yrs,5yrs,10yrs respectively. 1 Like |

ultim:there are other countries you can visit, you should explore that as now you want to blame agent. This is a serious misrepresentation- go to other countries, there are 195 of them excluding UK and Nigeria. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Nobody: 8:02am On Jul 31, 2022 |
Every one situation can change drastically in a flip of seconds. Yes you dont need to hide your situation because it's a strong ties in your home country. Include your wife for now, then you can add both dependant as twins. Their age will all depend on when you last applied. I wish you good luck. There was no misrepresentation because it's better u don't put it than putting it and they found out it wasn't... Ensure you have a genuine marriage and birth certificate... You even get the visa without cert, add her biko but the date must tally from after u were issued a previous UK visa ultim: |

MarryWhiteasap: I really feel either renewal or first time application does not matter again. We don’t really know for sure how these applications are dealt with… I have a renewal that is almost 3 months now and more than 9 weeks and still counting. One thing that is certain is that the visitor application now takes more than 15 work days, I don’t know if other types though. The processing times have really changed. Nothing is certain. 1 Like |

New application is now 7 weeks (30 business days)renewal 3 weeks (15 working days) Find out what is really wrong with your application. Although most immigration application takes longer than 12 weeks or even 6 months as case may be. Doesn't matter if you have been issue before or not. kod161: |

Hello house, Please I need urgent assistance on the following: 1. Should I wait for my COS before scheduling my TB test? 2. What address will I enter when scheduling my TB test? (destination address) 3. Do I have to pay for my TB test at the time of booking, or can I pay when I arrive at the IOM office? Thank you for responding so quickly 1 Like |

Pls very important my wife is travelling to Nigeria tomorrow via British Airways and they are asking for PCR test to check her in. Anyone have issues like that and can she fly without the pcr test... I thought they cancelled it recently |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by vikaosi: 10:18am On Jul 31, 2022 |
japro: 1. You don't need to wait for your COS to do the TB. Getting a date for TB can be a problem 2. You can use your sponsor's (prospective employer) address 3. You book and pay before the date. Pay before going. |

MarryWhiteasap:do you know what you are sayin? He was already married and put that he was single. So you want him to go back now with documents showing/saying he had children and a wife when he filled earlier that he was single? What will be his explanation? Dementia? That he forgot he was married then? That he forgot he had children then? In the same application he signed tht he was telling the truth? For the same UK application? Twins as how? This is the highest level of rubbish I have read. He should create documents to add his children as twins? You need to be cautious with the level of bs you are spreading. Then the date should tally from after previous application? How? To forge dates? As you cant see he was already married and has/had children even when he said he was single. Also pls where did he tell you he was successful? he only stated he applied.. did he tell you he has a previous UK visa? My God! Pls dnt give wrong advice and send ppl to reopen can of worms they can not get themselves out of. may God help us on this thread 5 Likes |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Nobody: 10:44am On Jul 31, 2022 |
I can see u lack sense of reasoning and understanding. Mr A filed for visit visa 2009 married but stated single and was given Mr A refile for visit visa 2021 married and stated married? Mr A is entitled to change within this years of declaring his marital statues. Mr A can approach the consulate that his situation have changed over the years. Mr A can work into the civil court 2021 and get a certified dated document. Mr A can decide not to include dependent or yes he can include dependent stating that the kids were born while cohabiting together over the years their by getting a birth certificate from National population census. Bia this man you are not the only one with knowledge.. As a matter of fact the man mentioned RENEWAL... giselle237: |

Chocychoco: Oh! Depends on covid vaccination status. Fully vaccinated- go on ncdc portal and fill in details and upload vaccination document and get QR code. No test. No payment. Partially or unvaccinated- PCR test + pay for day 2 and day 7 test on ncdc portal to get QR code |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 10:52am On Jul 31, 2022 |
MarryWhiteasap:they were cohabiting and the children are twins.. Ok got it! If you dnt know the form will ask for date of marriage and date of birth of the dependents then I have nothing to say to you… after all they are twins and he has been cohabiting. .. so while they were cohabiting they were not his children then. Smh. Let me not waste my brain cells anymore because this is the lowest level of what I dnt know. 2 Likes |
