Been battling weed addiction myself

Re: Marijuana Quiting Thread by Cataboy: 9:02am On Aug 02, 2022
I have been smoking ever since I was 17 years, I am 24 now, in these course of these years I smoked every strain of weed I came by, but I am more of an Arizona(AZ) guy....I love the energy it gives me. My relationship with marijuana was a tricky one. It changed my life for the better and it took some good things out of my life.

I had always wanted to be a fit guy ever since I watched the Sparta 300 movie but the problem was, i was very weak child growing up...I couldn't even do 10 pushups, no matter how hard I try but ever since I started using weed, I have drastically improved in my working outs, It keeps me shredded also.My favorite thing for the past three years has been, smoking, putting on some musics and doing calisthenics (workout). Nothing else interests me, I can go for 5 hours straight and I won't get tired when I'm high. I have never had a girlfriend, currently don't have any friends, my phone can go a month without recieving any call and yet I feel at peace as long as I have my weed. I reflected on my life today and realised how small my world has become, I use to be a very funny guy, caring, had other hobbies apart form working out. But now I don't find joy in the little things, i can't even hold a conversation with my mom without getting bored. It feels like weed dims your soul(people that smoke weed just to feel among might not relate)

I can't name all what weed has stripped me off but the last thing i want to hear is "weed is medicinal" ..yes it is but I want to get off the medications, I think I'm cured already. Please what's the best way I can quit cuz I can barely Go pass a day, the world irritates me, suicides keeps crossing my mind.

The desire to quit smoking weed is to be praised and encouraged not because cannabis is inherently bad, but because currently in Nigeria an array of highly toxic chemicals are used to deliberately contaminate marijuana, with the result that even a single usage of weed can result in the smoker ingesting poisons ranging from methamphetamine to cocaine, PCP, and heroin, any of which can send an unsuspecting stoner to the hospital, lunatic asylum or mortuary.

For anyone residing in a remote area far from the cities where tainted weed is sold, the opportunity exists to grow one's own supply, and thereby guarantee that the harvested cannabis buds cultivated in one's garden are 100% free of poisonous additives currently used by criminal gangs to create physical addictions in those of their consumers that do not become mental cases or worse after unknowingly ingesting poisonous additives.

In short, anyone who resides in Nigeria and is not in the position to grow their own cannabis supply in safety MUST quit right away to save their life and sanity before it is too late. Do not allow criminal peddlers of cannabis to poison you to death with the chemicals they now routinely add to weed before selling it to unsuspecting consumers.

You speak the truth, my brethren. In Germany and the UK right now there is an epidemic of highly addictive ARTIFICIAL laboratory-created THC, that is added to cannabis to increase its potency at the risk of triggering spontaneous bouts of outright madness in a short period of time.

Also in some European countries, evil-minded cannabis pushers are adding powdered GLASS to their weed, so that it will sparkle like a high-quality product. That ground-up glass is then INHALED into the lungs of unsuspecting weed smokers who soon find themselves suffering from serious internal injuries to their lungs that often lead to a protracted, lingering, and agonizing death.

Anyone residing anywhere on this planet, and who is not in the position to personally grow and harvest their own supply of marijuana, MUST quit as soon as possible to save their own sanity, health, and lives.

Gentlemen,

Shall we commenced with breaking free from the addiction since we can't all be MJ farmers, I believe with all the point listed by Jakumo and also buttressed by Cataboy it's better late than never.

I'm kind of worry about my nigga, Wavvyyyyy, this is highly unusual even on the PMO thread, man is uncharacteristically quiet.

I'm glad you know this and with the negative energies you've listed up there, it's now or never.

Go easy on yourself and remember there will be relapse along the line but the main focus is to remain focus.

What I've discovered in my own journey is change of environment helps a lot, I minimize going out with friends and if I'm to do that I let them know on time that a bottle of water would be fine and no need sitting in a secluded area just to chill and last but not the least, I'm learning how to build my life around this saying 'see, if you can live without it'

Except for God, family, few friends and some unavoidable foes grin, I'm forced to live my life without things I consider important particularly if it's damaging.

Don't even know what to say, if I may ask do you have any substitute for the act since you set out on this journey, I mean I channel all my energy to writing just to make sure I don't fall back, I've enrolled for a soft skill training too...

You may have to look into that one too.

Meanwhile, we go better today.
