reccy: I'm sorry but you can't attempt to defend any aspect of this government without sounding insane. Only people who still want us to continue with this useless APC government will try and rationalize the irrational. Or defend the indefensible. This government has built train tracks for Niger. This government has constructed roads for Niger state. This government has sent oil pipelines to Niger state from the south. What have we got from Niger state if not illegal votes? I'm simply not finding it funny with any sympathizer of this despotic government. In another country, we should be on the streets protesting, but here we are divided, because you've decided to be a sellout. That may be harsh but when you read your own past posts and see how you were unable to prove to us how 1 billion naira fancy SUVs help in fighting insecurity, then you see my justification of the word sellout. 2 Likes |

A brilliant excerpt from kperogi. https://www.nairaland.com/7263182/why-buhari-more-loyal-niger He talks about Igbo people, his Westphalian compatriots, with unconcealed animosity & genocidal fury but builds infrastructure for his kinfolk in a foreign country using resources derived from a part of the country he openly disdains supposedly because they gave him only “5 percent” of their vote. That’s not the way to run a modern state |

Atiku appoints Dino Melaye and Daniel Bwala as spokesman https://www.nairaland.com/7263951/atiku-appoints-dino-melaye-daniel Izzou I guess since they are not APC, they are okay even though all 3 Atiku Dino and Bwala were in APC just recently. Bwala was actually in APC as recently as last month |

Federal Government unveiled a new Govt-to-Govt power project, to complement PPInigeria and other initiatives. This new one involves the US Govt (US Exim Bank), and a consortium led by Sun Africa; and is focused on renewable energy (solar). Meeting with PMB today.

raumdeuter: Is Bwala's name on the ballot? What is he contesting for? |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Oasis007(m): 2:19pm On Aug 04, 2022 |
Implementing partner on Federal Government side is Niger Delta Power Holding Company. This is NDPHC’s ‘next-level’ — focusing on renewables, away from the conventional gas sources. SunAfrica say they hope to reach financial close Q4 2022, after which the project should be delivered in a 30-month timeline.

reccy:Always be prepared to deal with an ignorant majority. As soon as you know this, everything else you read will have an interesting spin to it. For e.g ASUU is demanding 1.3 trillion Naira from the govt. So imagine the sheer stupidity involved in lambasting your govt for doling out foreign aid to the tune of 1.4B when they could have channeled that money that is only 1% of what ASUU is demanding. If your govt was gifting out even 100B for e.g, the traducers may have had a case, but you know the rest. Also, giving foreign aid is a fixture of every govt. If you go online, you will see that Nigeria via FG used to earmark as much as $45M to give to relatively poorer countries around us. Will it surprise you to find out that the Buhari administration in 2022 is the stingiest govt in that regard in the last perhaps 20 years? Like I said before, you are allowed to criticize your govt. Just make sure it makes sense. I even understand that the Land cruisers were purchased because that is what the Nigerien govt specifically asked for when they begged Nigeria for the aid. The very same foreign aid Nigeria still begs US, China and other relatively more prosperous nations for. lol 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Android17: I don't even know which point you want to make I am not supporting Atiku I am not supporting Bwala I am not supporting Dino I am not supporting Abe Nobody that decamped from APC is on my supporting list, sir. So, are you making my point for me, or you want to be with the minority that's always right (whatever that means)? |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Android17: 2:53pm On Aug 04, 2022 |
izzou:Correction, I never said the minority is always right. I said people will rather camp with the majority even though they know they are wrong than be with the minority even if they know they are right. See the difference. As for who you support or not, that is not the point. Some people here have argued that BAT is a bad candidate because he helped bring this present govt in. Well, by that same logic, anyone who helped bring this govt in should never be considered by those...you get the point. Now if that shoe fits you, you have to wear it. If it does not, then maybe it was not for you. 3 Likes |
