Not their.

His endorsement.

Sometimes you can have notoriety without true impact. We have lot of people that are famous in Nigeria but just talk without them having any power to change anything. It’s just like saying Ohaneze has political power in Igboland to influence anything.

Pa Adebanjo cannot influence 500 people on his own to vote a particular candidate. He is a sworn enemy of Tinubu just like Bode George.

You said not THEIR but HIS..Is Afenifere a person or group of person?
Ohanaeze ndi Igbo very is relevant because most of the politicians and governors are members of the group.

Go home & take a good look at your 80 year old grandfather, then you should honestly ask yourself if you would be happy if your grandfather was to be the president of Nigeria at his present state.
There's no difference between the health of your grandfather & Tinubu, the only difference is Tinubu has money to be flying himself to better hospitals abroad in order to cover-up his health issues.
Now the same Tinubu who brought poverty upon you, thereby making your grandfather unable to take care of himself like Tinubu, is still the same man who you want to support to lead you into more poverty & hardship.
You should really try to reason like someone who has sense.
hahahahaha,
this is the point.
obituary brought poverty to idiotic pigs of biafra in anambra for 8yrs without making any meaningful impact on any life.
but tinubu create enabling environment for even idiotic pigs to thrive.
in terms of health. Buhari of 80yrs is much younger than obituary.
the way tinubu campaign round the country during the primary, if your obituary do such campaign round the country, obituary will die before election day. that is to prove tinubu is stronger than obituary and atiku.

NBC needs to call the handlers of that sham of a newspaper to order. And fast. This is no journalism ; it's sheer hate speech.

Well in the SW, no governor is part of current Afenifere.

And I also know that in the SE, Ohaneze have no political power to shape any election. Except maybe you’re trying to deceive people on Nairaland.

I said his because it was only Pa Adebanjo that did that on his own accord. Not Afenifere as a group themselves.

You can downplay the importance of these social cultural groups for all you care.If they are nothing political parties won't be seeking after their endorsement. They are not relevant yet Tinubu's camp want Afenifere to support Tinubu becaue he is Yoruba than Support Peter Obi.
Any how believe what you like.

The Nation (Tinubu) newspaper has become a tribal junk newspaper outfit churning out bigotry against Obi, we are just as d Obituary by Omatseye is dying down, they churn another tribal slur.

Afenifere just like Ohaneze, Pandef, Middlbelt elders forum believed in real, fair, just rotation which is why they back SE for Presidency, having had SW and SS have their slot in the South

When we refuse to be divided by religion, tribalism and corrupt politicians, when we rise with our PVCs, you will see Nigeria too rise in greatness. Join us to save Nigeria. Take back your country from the old thieves sucking your bloods and making you suffer. Sai Labour party, Sai ObiDatti, 2023. Nigeria belongs to the living, not the dead.

Obi is neither new nor young and he has not proven his competence beyond reasonable doubts. He has NOTHING to point to after his 8 years as Governor. There's a reason he loves to talk about China or Egypt instead of pointing out how he solved problems in the past.

The Northerners are even smarter than Southerners cos they are saying- Is it not the current Anambra state we know today that Obi governed for 2 terms?
