Kuria wont win Kiambu governorship but many kikuyus see him a brave hero against Kenyatta attempt to swap community with personal interest. Raila is running and Kuria is still useful for Ruto. He will definitely be in Cabinet in a weeks time.

In Gatundu South - Kuria is highly regarded - because he changed area by ensuring 100% electricity connectivity - compared to when Uhuru was their MP.
