International football’s a much quicker environment. You have to move the ball quicker and make decisions quicker. Ajibade have stretched herself and she make decisions very quickly now. She doesn’t overthink when chances come, she take them. But mostImportantly she have also got more maturity, more composure in the final third. She’s calmer in front of goal.

The Superfalcon problem is definitely Randy, How do you tryouts so many players during the international Friendlies in various positions, then going to the WAFCON you decide to change things again like you still don’t know your first eleven for how long….

This video didn't show much though especially her defensive aspect but I'm impressed with her calmness and her ball distribution.

Oparanozie and pace? That's a laugh! You may want to watch the Aisha Buhari cup and assess her performance which, for all intents and purposes, was pitiful.
Okobi, for me, had a very poor Nations Cup, considering all her years of the so called 'experience'. She turned the ball over more than any other midfielder on the team (always caught on the ball because of her wanting to always dribble, ultimately slowing down the counter attack) and her lack of vision (unable to pick a pass - e.g. Ajibade's pass to Alozie vs Ivory Coast away; Halimatu's pass to Onumonu vs. Botswana). She also flubbed on 2 occasions (Burundi and Morocco) when she had open nets and made a complete mess of it. She is NOT the kind of midfielder we need in this Falcons set up.

Look, these ladies are done. They add little or no overall value to the team. They either foment problems amongst team members (perhaps because of their feeling of entitlement due to their 'experience') or they lack the energy and pace to contribute to the team. Either way, they add little or no value to the team at this point in time.

The four of them are on the downward slope of their national team careers. We have several up and coming players who are ready to take the baton and run with it. The 2023WWC presents a perfect platform for the next gen to gain experience and build their confidence on the world stage. Why continue with a bunch that will be irrelevant in a year vs. go with younger ones that will be relevant for the next 8 years? This is straight forward and I am shocked at the pushback for something so obvious.

Yea... Football has now evolved. There is nothing like just hoofing the ball anyhow. Players especially defenders who are good with ball are now being sought.
For a 19 year-old, Demehin is composed and decent with the ball. I don't know about her defensive side but she can only get better.

Payne comes to USC as a transfer from West Virginia and current member of the Nigerian National Team. In three seasons at West Virginia, Payne was named to the All-Big 12 Freshman team and the All-Big 12 team twice. Nicole is good on the dribble and in 1v1 duels, and she will contribute as a wing back and/or winger.”
