Our Play Maker…. With Rasheedat Ajibade living up to the billing is something to be happy about … Few years back, I used to refer to her as an overhyped player especially from the period of 2018 to early 2020… 5 Likes

International football’s a much quicker environment. You have to move the ball quicker and make decisions quicker. Ajibade have stretched herself and she make decisions very quickly now. She doesn’t overthink when chances come, she take them. But mostImportantly she have also got more maturity, more composure in the final third. She’s calmer in front of goal. 2 Likes

naijaseeker: The Superfalcon problem is definitely Randy, How do you tryouts so many players during the international Friendlies in various positions, then going to the WAFCON you decide to change things again like you still don’t know your first eleven for how long…. As he’s continuing like he better gets his Selections right now so they can get used to themselves.. Those old legs that need to seat on the bench is high time he seats them out, whatever experience they’re offering they should offer seating on the bench.. 1 Like |

Since the NFF wouldn’t want to sack Randy as it stands he better get his Selections and Decision making right, His major problem.. You don’t have a natural full back in that team right now, Glory Ogbonna at Left Back is currently below average… Since he likes Tony Payne at fullback let him just stick with her at right Back and allow Alozie deputise for her then bring in Patricia George to the left Back and allow Nicole Payne deputise for her… At CB Onome Ebi should just rest in the Bench and Contribute her quota from there.. Pair Osinachi Ohale and Ashleigh Plumptre as this two can definitely play together for another 4years by then Ohale Would be 34yrs.. Demehin, Zogg and Akudo should understudy them and get game time too.. And if this 3 performs better any of the first two choices who isn’t performing as expected can be dropped to the bench… If Chidinma Okeke and Glory Ogbonna doesn’t step up then Goodbye to them… 2 Likes 1 Share

I foresee the Pair of Oluwatosin Blessing Demehin and Ashleigh Plumptre in the Future…. This two have got what it takes, Demehin performance at the U20 World Cup will definitely determine if she’s ready…. Again Ashleigh Plumptre Center Back pair must also be Faster than her, though Ashleigh game reading abilities and reactions are top notch.. 2 Likes |

Idiko1: Demehin have been the most sort after Center Back in the Nigeria Women football league, until Rivers Angels signed her… Let’s just wait and see how she performs at the U20 World Cup, which will definitely tell us how ready she’s for the Superfalcons.. Falconets Key Players to watch out for; • Blessing Demehin (CB) • Ramat Imuran (LB) • Deborah Ajibola (DM/CM) • Esther Onyedineze (AM) • Flourish Sabastine (LW) You can also look out for the likes of • Blessing Okpe (F) • Joy Jerry (AM/F) • Mercy Idoko (F) 1 Like |

Deltamani: In red, there is nothing to "Wait and see" about Nigeria and U20 world cup. I hope for a soft disgrace because Nigerians still play naive soccer. The attackers still want to dwell in the gratification of "I scored the goal instead of we won the match". 1 Like |

isan: Onome Ebi of today is very old. She can barely walk therefore a burden on her to effortlessly bring the ball up the field. Only a bad coach would encourage Balogun to bring the ball out of the defensive circle. |

isan:Yea... Football has now evolved. There is nothing like just hoofing the ball anyhow. Players especially defenders who are good with ball are now being sought. For a 19 year-old, Demehin is composed and decent with the ball. I don't know about her defensive side but she can only get better. 2 Likes |

Defender Nicole Payne also made a move to USC soccer a month ago, Ashleigh Plumptre former School…. TRANSFERS Nicole Payne 5-4 | Defender | Birmingham, Ala. | West Virginia/Oak Mountain HS/Concorde Fire SC Payne comes to USC as a transfer from West Virginia and current member of the Nigerian National Team. In three seasons at West Virginia, Payne was named to the All-Big 12 Freshman team and the All-Big 12 team twice. She appeared in 53 games, making 44 starts mainly on the back line for the Mountaineers, scoring four times and providing two assists. Payne is currently a member of the Nigerian National Team and is currently with the Super Falcons at the Women’s African Cup of Nations in Morocco. She and her sister, Toni, became the first sisters to play together on the Nigerian National Team back in 2021. She also previously played in the U.S. Youth National Team system from the U-14 to U-19 levels. Payne starred in both soccer and track and field as a prep athlete, earning Gatorade State Track and Field Athlete of the Year honors in 2019. She graduated owning two state records, as well as six state championships and nine total state medals. Payne was ranked the No. 27 soccer recruit in the country according to the IMG Academy Top 150 and the No. 4 midfielder in her region according to Top Drawer Soccer coming out of high school. She helped the Concorde Fire to an ECNL national third-place finish in 2017. Alukonis on Payne: “We watched many of Nicole’s games and were particularly impressed by her ability to perform at a very high level for the entirety of the contest. One game, we purposely watched her action from the 100th minute on, and she was still sprinting up and down the entire field late in double overtime. Nicole is good on the dribble and in 1v1 duels, and she will contribute as a wing back and/or winger.” Payne on why she chose USC: “I chose USC because I wanted to be somewhere I can continue to grow as a person and player on and off the field. I believe that my new coaching staff, teammates, and environment will help me achieve that goal.” This move speaks volumes 2 Likes
