Mehn, everything Naija is just hard work. Considering the number of people travelling on a daily basis, this could have been another source of revenue for the Government if they could just make the online application work instead of paying money to one rogue officer that will not do anything. I paid one officer 15k over 6 weeks ago and I'm yet to get the extract.

Omoo!!! That's serious oh, most of those FRSC officials don't even know there's a document called 'driving extract'. I paid 20k for mine and it's out, but funny part is, it was also done via that frsc verification website. But if you do it yourself, they will ignore your submission. Nigeria may never be great again!

This is what it reads on one of her personal websites:
"Eno Eka is a business analyst and change manager based in Calgary, Alberta. She is an award-winning career coach and speaker who has been recognized for helping more than 20,000 professionals around the world kickstart their professional careers. "

20,000? Really?

You see, there have been snake oil salesmen. There really have been quite a number. In recent times though, Linkedin has helped advanced the business of the snake oil salesman even more assiduously. These days, all you need is a linkedin account, a twitter account, and maybe facebook too. Then make sure you are heavily made up so that you look very perfect. Then start shooting out those emails claiming you are a professional. Some dumb, depressed person out there is sure to reach out and seek your services. You don't need a licence also.

20,000? Like she actually helped 20,000 people to kickstart their professional careers? Every fibre in my being tells me that's a made up number. I hesistate to take a woman like this seriously, and this is not even women hating on women. That's just a plain lie.

Anyone can tell a lie in this age of technology and they have google too to help them advance that lie using SEO. This is a classic fake it till you make it. And seriously, it looks like she's already on the making-it side.

I can't even see any tool she has created or any book she has written. It looks like all glamour on the surface and then collecting money on the side.

Then, there is this fancy quote on the website:

"We’ve looked at a lot of Business Analysis Company but these guys were always the clear favorite. They have the right strategy and they’ve been awesome to work with."
Ryan Baser
BAS SCHOOL

Except, there is no google results for any Ryan Baser of a BAS School. The only place a Ryan Baser of Bas School exist on the internet is that same website, eny consulting. Accident? Nah, I think that quote and its originator are just plain made up.

Something was always suspicious to me about this lady the first time I encountered her. It was that desire to just collect your money. I'd steer clear of this person. They belong in the fake it till you make it gang.

Don't bother using that online portal, you'll just pay and your money will enter voicemail... I tried using it, I paid and since like 4 weeks now, I never hear "pim". Not even confirmation of order processing.

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. I will take the web address out of my earlier comment.

She does claim to have received multiple awards and recognitions for her stellar works and results. Could those be made up too? I'm really interested in this exposé to help demystify a few things.

I see one of my former colleagues (at one of the consulting big 4 I worked with) as one of the "testifiers" in one of Eno's ads. i"m wondering if that is also arranged, given that she used her real name and can easily be verified. Perhaps there might be some truth in what she's selling, only that they may be grossly exaggerated.

Your (and other) thoughts are welcome

I didn't say it was all made up. I was making the point it is grossly exaggerated. Getting those awards cost nothing besides being very visible on Linkedin and encouraging a few people to fill out nomination forms for you. Go and look on her Linkedin. Most of her "success stories" are written by her herself. I haven't even researched that. If I do, I'm sure to dig up some more lies.
20,000 is too much of an exaggeration to be a lie. That's not even an exaggeration anymore, but a plain lie. And yeah, I'm not saying she hasn't helped a few people, but this is clearly fake it till you make it. And as I said, it looks like she's a little bit on the making-it side now.

And just to pick one, that thing about being a course instructor at the University of Manitoba is just a mirage. It looks like she led a course (or maybe a session) at the school's extended education program (also called continuing education in other universities in canada). And this continuing education arm of the universities are entirely separate from the university itself. Of course, many don't know that and it's a fact that can be conveniently left out. And even then, there are those who are consistent instructors at the continuing education arm of these schools. These people are usually listed on the school's website. She appears to not be, since there is no reference on the school's website or the school's continuing education arm website regarding her. Yet, she hasn't stopped including that in every single description. Again, I put it that she's selling snake oil.

Go and use online resources, join a whatsapp group of BA professionals, network with them, write CBAP and a few other professional exams, and you will get a job.

Some of us don't agree with you often but this one is spot on. The results are grossly exaggerated to the point that it is a plain lie.

That apart, the field of business analysis is very dynamic and can be a hit or miss. Add on top of that, that there are many variables that can impact a person getting a job. Thus, it can be dubious to claim that one specific thing was what helped a person land a role.

Same here. I know two people who used her course and haven't gotten a job.
So what I tell people is not about the trainer or program, you also need to do the work to get your dream job and keep the job.
If you can afford it, there are better training groups out there that can work. Note that they won't guarantee you a job,

Some of those courses on Coursera or udemy will not give you the practical support though

I think she is spending a lot more in advertisements than her colleague in the business - ba with sena. I had a session with Sena a while back to understand what exactly I was going to gain from the training but I wasn't really convinced of the value being promised for $2,500. Each time I see Eno's ads, I remember my conversation with Sena and just feel they both packaging. They even look alike!
