How has he demonstrated that in anambra?
Someone that is one of the major importers of fake products suddenly wants to stop importation.

You guys would fall for anything with the semblance of a messiah.

But the same multinational companies are allowed to set their prices. As are most Nigerian companies. Power sector isn't allowed to.

You can't have success as a seller of stationeries, if you buy exercise books at N200 a book wholesale, and government then tells you to see them at N20 instead of the N300 you were intending to sell them at.
Am not getting your analogy here...

Does government control price here ?

They do for the power and the price of PMS and also to some extent school fees in government run schools (which is why you do not pay fees of 600000 or more) and healthcare (which is why when madam needs a CS it won't cost over N5 million naira).

Basically, government sets prices for the discos and gencos, not the discos and gencos themselves, (unlike say MTN that has freedom to set its own prices).

Yes o, I'm a proud tribalist.
I hope you didn't mean it as an insult tho, because being tribalistic is a virtue which everyone must possess.

Those European nations y'all love to escape to were created along tribal/ethnic lines and they hold their tribes dearly.
So why shouldn't I do that too?
Tell me.

In this Nigeria where electricity is scarce? How are they able to charge the vehicles? I hope all the electricity generated is not wasted in the North and the south is left an abysmal supply of electricity. In some southern states, they only get electricity for 3 hours a day.

They have CONSTANT electricity in most northern states. I was having 20 hours in Nasarawa and 24 hours in Jos

Nope. Mostly private since 2013. (You can check google ). Only Transmission is government owned...but even then it depends mostly on revenue from the private owned discos and gencos.

Even if it was government owned, government was setting the prices below what it cost to produce power.

That is the main reason why we don't have power...government running the sector at a loss..which promotes corruption and lack of finances to maintain stuff.

Good am

You are free not to believe me, and I am also not excusing government...I am showing you the main way government has mismanaged power.

Allow the discos and gencos to set a price that lets them make enough of a profit to fix things, and run without the need for government 'grants'

Where do they get electricity to charged the vehicle? Is this just an attempt to deceive peopplw into purchasing it by given stable power to deceive potential buyer or what?

I ask again where is the power to charge the electric vehicle pls?

A country that cannot boast of 24 hours electricity supply, how can electric cars and buses work in such country?

This is exactly why Nigeria needs peter Obi to reset this country and get it working again!

Nigerians have decided that it is Obi they want and together we can get it right this time around with PO. Vote wisely
No Sir you have decide it is Obi you want not all Nigerians . Until someone can show me Obi’s excellent performance in Anambra with facts on ground then he is just one of our regular hyped politicians. Note this electrical development is from Maiduguri it has nothing to do with Obi.

I don't know why y'all keep looking for facts on ground when you have Google to do the study yourselves. My brother go to Google and type Obi's achievements in Nigeria, grab a chair and relax while you read through his achievements. The internet is there to educate you man!!!

Wow! This is the best news I have read this week. wink If most states will key into this, it will significantly reduce the demand for PMS.

Brethren, behold our future Tesla and the experiment is being carried out in a place many people never expected - not Lagos, Abuja or PH, but Maiduguri!

My problem now is that the government will not encourage them. Infact they might even bring up policies that will discourage their operations. See as this Nigerian govt nor de encourage Innoson naw. The guy is good but Nigerian govt still prefers buying SUVs from abroad. We don't encourage and patronise ourselves.
