Fir the transmission you need oil that meets MB 236.12

I believe that Fanfaro ATF VI meets this spec.

Shell ATF 134 meets the spec and available on Amazon.

Mercedes also have their own oil that’s available on Jiji

Mileage is low (less than 50k) so that's some consolation.

It's not impossible but improbable that this is the true mileage.

The Mercedes oil has been adulterated so much. Most of the oils being sold are fakes. Except if he can get from a trusted supplier.
Personally if there is a genuine LiquiMoly then i will suggest he goes for that. Higher chance its original.

This is why I'm standardising on Fanfaro oil for now.

Egunmogaji2 is correct. That mileage for a 7 year old car is impossible ceteris paribus

1) Any lower milage Mercedes will be in demand in the USA. It'll rarely be exported.

2) It's been sitting in a yard either from an accident or flood.

OP should simply put the VIN on an internet search bar and stop over reliance on Carfax type outfits.

Please go with a competent Benz mechanic/professional and ensure he brings along his Diagnostic scanner.
it is important. a lot of them are here on this forum. pay to hire their service. i am not sure they are overly expensive.

Is your coolant level dropping? If yes then its coolant leak.
If otherwise, you might have an injector stuck open.
White smoke is either coolant or fuel related issue.

Scan he car. Problems with the CAN bus usually can cause a no-star problem as yours.
Start with a scan. Scan all the modules on the car.
I suspect you will have "CAN no communication" fault stored.

Liqui Moly Top Tec ATF 1800 about 8k per litre...Your transmission takes 9 litres since you are not draining Torque about 5 to 6 litres should do it.
