[b]Process for Screeding a rough wall/fence



If your wall/fence has been painted and it's Peeling off or it grows some unwanted Plants.


To ensure a quality Screeding do the following.

Wall must be Properly Scraped clean.
Mix cement with Pop Screeding Paint & Top Bond gum or factory Produced gum.
Mix to achieve a thick & quality solution (Do not mange materials especially for a very ugly & rough wall or fence.)
After Proper Screeding, leave dry for 2days, then sand paper to achieve more Smoothness.




NB: in Screeding, Black cement is the same thing with (Dangote/BUA/other regular cement).



Recommendations; Use POP cement for interior wall Screeding, Use Black cement for exterior (Fence/wall).

Use Factory Produced Gum in Mixing your solution.


Please Note: The above recommendations are based on my experience & Research. (Feel free to try your own way).

Good Afternoon Sir, Am Sorry for the late Response.

POP cement is better Suited for interior Screeding.
it can't be used for exterior Screeding, because it's not friendly with water, once it's done. (Rain outside would definitely affect it) , it's reasonable to use normal cement for exterior Screeding, as it better suited in wet conditions than Pop cement.

Dr Mix is good! ✓

Elite Pop cement is good.

Per Kg of sponge (fillas) ranges from ₦2,400 - 2,700.
Please be careful when you buy sponge as some Unscrupulous vendors tweak their weighing scale to sell 6kg as 10kg to unsuspecting customers.


Before you Negotiate the price, Request that you want the fillas with the original scale, (if it's possible, go with your own small weighing scale) to confirm that 10kg is actually 10kg.

Yes! But the cement must be properly kept & avoid contact with water.
