Phummy2984: They seems to be thoroughly confused in that place at the moment (DMC) If you're absolutely sure, this doesn't apply to you my advise is to get a good solicitor to write them a stinker. Don't wait, act fast otherwise, they wanna hang 10yrs ban on you. Cheers |

Good morning everyone. My husband lives in the Uk I recently got a six months visa which is to expire 11th January 2023. I’m applying for spousal visa through an immigration lawyer in the Uk so I’m coming back to Nigeria for it. Now my question is This,I left Nigeria July 29th and I’m to return 29th August because during the application I told the home office I’m staying for a month, now my return date has passed and I’m going back to Nigeria September 16th will it affect my spousal visa application My six months visa was issued 11th July and will expire 11th January 2023. |

My application was on 21st of June 2022 it is a standard uk visit visa and am traveling alone. I am thinking of sending a paid mail to them and also sending a letter written by my lawyer through DHL to the British embassy in Lagos. I will enclose my first passport in 2010 data page and the visa page and my recent application, my university in Nigeria certification that I graduated in 2009 .What do u think? What other option do u think I can employ. The lawyers I contacted in the uk are asking for huge some and I can’t afford it. Exploring local options please am open to suggestions |

AHUPEACE: This doesn't have any singular effect whatsoever on your next application. Plans can always change and you're still within your legal stay period. You're damn too good to go. Nothing to worry about. Cheers 3 Likes |

Bros, Write a detailed email to complaints@homeoffice.gov.uk Tell them how they've made a mistake with your application and how everything on the refusal letter has nothing to do with you. Include a copy of the refusal letter too. If your assertions are true, It will be resolved with no financial recourse to you. Phummy2984: 5 Likes |

Hello everyone. Can someone approach TLS contact for passport pickup one week after refusal email was received or one MUST wait for the pickup email from TLS Contact before going to their office? Please anyone with a similar experience should please advise. |

Sending paid mail to them but do you think sending letter written by your lawyer through dhl can deliver to appropriate office in British embassy in Lagos? Your best goal is to have someone to help you in the UK or getting a immigration lawyer in the UK Phummy2984: |

Send a strong worded complain to the email provided by the gentleman above. Also search for various emails connecting UKVI and the High Commission, send these emails constantly - two, three, four times daily for one week, then wait for three weeks, you'll definitely get a response. Don't send a paid mail, no reasonable response will be given. Also do not engage the service of a lawyer at this time. Phummy2984: 1 Like |

Sorry about that. I think the reason they gave is quite simple. Just work on your income and expenditure (explain any abnormal transaction) and re-apply Ulinda: |

Please help! I applied for UK Visitors Visa last month, and went for biometrics in the 25th July, 2022. Unfortunately, as I speak the UKVI has not taken decision on my application. However, I need to use my passport this Friday, 2nd September ,2022 for travelling to Czech Republic What I Done so Far? 1. Send a paid email to UKVI contact ,explaining to them about my situation ,urging them to take quick action 2. Visited TLS office in VI to submit a withdrawal form because at this point I don't care the visa, all I care about is getting back my passport 3. Visited the UK Consulate in Walter Carrington VI, but the security guys at the Consulate would not let me in nor ready to assist. What is at Stake 1. if I don't fly with my current ticket on the 2nd September 2022, I may have to pay over a million naira for Flight ticket to Prague for days starting from 5th of September,2022. 2. I must be in Czech Republic latest 10th of September to enroll for my studies else I may have issue with my admission. Please guru in the house, please help me. |

hayzee545: Sorry about the very tight and precarious situation you're in, but seriously you did yourself in, except you've either not been following the trends about how applications are getting unusually long delays, or probably giving the benefits of the doubt, your plan visit to the Czech Republic wasn't anticipated when you applied for the UK Visa. It is what it is, only a miracle would get your passport out before the 2nd of September. In any case what God cannot do does not exist. Keep hope alive. Cheers |

kpiper2473: Travel to England rules When you travel to England, you: - do not need to complete a UK passenger locator form before you travel - do not need to take any COVID-19 tests before you travel or after you arrive - do not need to quarantine when you arrive This applies whether you are vaccinated or not. Phummy2984: Write a detailed complaint letter to this email address (complaints@homeoffice.gov.uk). Make sure you point out everything you think will help your case. My sister's case was overturned in January for similar reason. Under normal circumstances, they will get back to you within 15 to 30 working days |
