Why Are So Many Educated Nigerians So Dull? See What Someone Said About Atiku / Peter Obi More Popular Amongst The Most Educated Nigerians / We Are Looking For Educated Nigerians To Contest 2023 Elections -APC (2) (3) (4)

I wondered what would be the outcome of this election if only educated nigerians, people who own businesses, people who are employed; that is people who actually have stakes and things to lose are only allowed to vote and determine who becomes Nigerias president in 2023. Who do you think would win? who do you think majority of the educated and informed Nigerians would choose amongst Obi. Atiku and Tinubu? Most people would agree that the majority of well informed Nigerians, no matter their tribe are rooting for Obi. In clinical practice we allow only informed patients make decisions about their mode of management. We call that informed consent How come in electing people who rule over your future, your childrens future and your overall well-being you then advocate that people who do not know their rights from their lefts, people who are readily swayed by 5k naira are allowed to vote. For goodness sake these guys are ill informed and cannot make informed decisions. There should be a minimum academic requirements for someone to be eligible to vote. After all there is a minimum academic requirement to be voted for. Obviously APC and PDP alike are banking on such gullible Nigerians to perpetuate themselves in power. Atiku even boasted that 90% of his voters are not on social media (except you want to deceive yourself you’d agree that there is a high connect between education and use of social media, majority of people who are not on atleast one social media are mostly uneducated and poor). Let only people who have stakes in the Nigerian project determine who rules it, not people who have nothing at stake 5 Likes |

While some of your points are valid, I believe that disenfranchising people who are ostensibly uneducated does not portray an egalitarian society and is also undemocratic. Furthermore, that concept is a form of government known as aristocracy, which has its own set of drawbacks. It has been established that democracy is the best form of government, and one of the cornerstones of democracy is the right of every eligible voter to vote. I recognize that an uninformed voter's decision affects us all, but I believe that disenfranchising them is not the best solution. Rather, enlightening them should be the best course of action. 6 Likes

The problem with Igbo with self induced foolishness like yours is you are unashamed about your hypocrisy n stupidity. This is the reason your tribesmen segregate a caste labelled them Osu caste just so you can hate them. The Igbo tribe you come from can you claim 20% of the Igbo population in Nigeria are educated or you think any foolish Igbo shouting Biafra or went on refugee journey to Lagos Indonesia etc are now educated. Is 20% of Igbo in Nigeria stake holders in Nigeria or your immediate community. The thing about your foolish fool is that educated Nigerians from other tribes ignore the danger of your retarded brain dead bigoted igbos thinking they are not concerned not knowing foolishness such as potrayed in your narrative will be bought by feeble mind educated n uneducated or those that can not comprehend what logical reasoning is. This same sentiment of pure fallacy induced by bigotry is what Ipob is using to brain wash many foolish Igbos from Alaigbo to Germany. What empirical metrics did you use to judge Peter Obi will win anyone among those contesting beside Igbotic bigotry which you fools n lunatics want to impose on sane mind as the right thing to do. How many educated political gladiators as come on national scene to disclose that Peter Obi does not have what it takes to lead Nigeria. Check every media outlet selling Peter Obi as viable candidate n compare the population of igbos in that organisation. Beside Ebeano Nigeria info owned by Ezekwezili which other broadcast station his promoting Peter Obi ? Even AIT Arise are not cos they are obviously in alliance with Atiku. You idiot will claim am not educated or enlightened cos I chose not to vote Peter Obi or what will your excuse be ? Just to be clear whatever section of the population of Nigeria you like to select the president in a transparent global acceptable dictate Tinubu will till Jesus return always trash Peter Obi simply cos he is a beta candidate than him. I rather not speak for Atiku cos I am not supporting him. EmekaMD: 4 Likes 2 Shares |

I hope the MD in your moniker doesn't mean Medical Doctor. This is straight out of NAZIS eugenics playbook. We don't want to have another Josef Mengele on our hands. I wonder why Obi's supporters think like fascists. 2 Likes |

ElSudani:oh well. But Tinubu and Atiku supporters are happy to prey on the ignorance of the downtrodden only to lord over and humiliate them when they get to power? Good man. When you fail to equip your population with the right education to make better choices then what you practice is anything but democracy. Why do we set a minimum educational requirement for one to be voted for? If by your requirements someone is considered not educated enough to be voted for why then should that person be educated enough to vote? Fascism half played innit? Well you call it democracy as far as you can benefit from their ignorance 2 Likes |

Mynd44:Not elitism in any way. If there is an educational requirement for one to be voted for then there should be one for that who is voting. This is the easiest way to reduce monetary inducement in our political process 2 Likes |

EmekaMD: Wow! See logic. You actually believe you need a certain level of western education to be able to differentiate a good leader from a bad one? How much education do you need to know your city doesn't have electricity? How much education do you need to know your roads are not good? If you can't vote because you didn't have an education will you still be required to pay taxes? Your proposal is like the Osu caste system and it is dumb. 2 Likes |

ElSudani:If you have no education, you have no jobs, and you are one agbero in Ogbomosho under bridge, you do not pay taxes because you have no means of livelihood. That is why you’re ready to collect 5k naira and vote in one agbado vagabond only to start creeping into peoples DM begging for “giveaways” when they start dealing with you. But guess what? your gullibility affects us too because our business and jobs, and shares suffer. Get some education, know what it means to vote and then you can be qualified to vote. |
Re: OPINION: Imagine That Constitution Only Allowed Educated Nigerians To Vote by ElSudani: 6:22am On Sep 01, 2022 |
EmekaMD: So, everyone who didn't have an education is jobless and doing agbero under some bridge somewhere? From what you have written so far, I think you will also qualify as someone who shouldn't be allowed to vote. 2 Likes |

ElSudani:I assume you read my write up before commenting. Let me remind you that I mentioned education, being employed, having businesses, as separate indices. Which means that having one or more of any of these would mean that atleast who have something as stake hence would be atleast excepted to make informed choice. Someone who have nothing to lose would not mind selling his votes |

This was how the United States started. Only select people could vote. Even till the 1900s. Fortunately they had black leaders (e.g Martin Luther king) who weren't selfish unlike what we have here. 2 Likes |

I've canvassed for this before now. That the minimum qualification for the right to vote should be WAEC or NECO certificate. This is just common sense, but of course the useless establishment and their lapdogs (ably represented even here, including a pathetic mod) would never support this because that would immediately put an end to their supposed political relevance and power base. I would never be happy to see uneducated urchins, vermin and rural nonentities in their disgusting numbers having the power to determine something as important as political leadership for this country. This reality irks my spirit and my soul. That's why they would open their dirty mouths to brag that elections are not won on social media. It is the only reason why odious characters like Tinubu can even come out in the open and be arrogantly parading himself as a leading presidential candidate. The nerve. 3 Likes |
