The perfect gentle man! But ASUU strike happened for like 11 months during your regime, so how did you tackled it? you also left a lot of back log for the present failed administration. GEJ=PMB. Quote me if you like

Buhari is an illiterate....What will he say to the ASUU executives?

Buhari is not just the worst nigerian president of all time,he's also the least educated.

A sane president in a saner cline would have held series of meetings and preside over it on issues like this.

I barely see much difference between GEJ's administration and the current one. Let these guys go and rest. Nigeria deserves better

This is an indictment.
It implies there wasn't any need for the strike except negligence of your part

Don't reason like a buffoon. Why should he have taken that drastic step when he had ministers? Or what is their job in the first place if he personally had to intervene?

As a matter of urgency, president Buhari should replicate this approach so as to end this strike. If Buhari could interact directly with the ASUU leadership, perhaps ASUU could reconsider their stands and give peace a chance.
make una dey use common sense sometimes, so they should use that stupid approach so that the next president roo will inherit the problem and another strike will come later.

If you were a President, would you have a meeting with a Union that perpetually fight your government at every single opportunity with so much disdain, arrogance and hatred? If you have 2 wives, which one would you give more attention, love and resources to? The wife that fights you everytime, call you derogatory names, blackmail you, openly confronts and insult you you for not giving her enough resources or the one that plactes you, appeal to your ego and sings your praise despite your obvious imperfections?
Using the wife analogy is like comparing apples and pear. The president for crying out loud is the father of the nation. In every family there must be a stubborn child. You don't throw away that child because he's demanding for things that are legitimately his. If the president had interfaced directly with ASUU and even gave them promises, I'm sure they would have called off this strike out of respect for his office and for the fact that the number one citizen had personally intervened. But to have the president still remain this docile is really concerning.

Lies! Under President Jonathan the universities were shut for about 5 months in 2013. So what's this lie about him solving the problem in a single day? In fact he should take the blame for not implementing the agreements he and late Yaradua signed with the academics in 2009 and 2013

GEJ is the reason Buhari became president. Buhari would have remained a perpetual presidential candidate if GEJ had provided quality leadership in his time. Buhari contested against Obasanjo and lost, contested against Yar'dua and also lost, contested against GEJ in 2012,lost but won against GEJ in 2015, what changed? The same people who voted Gej in 2012 realised his failure and those same people voted against him in 2015, but unfortunately voted a worse failure in the person of Buhari.

That may and may not be true. Truest fact is that Nigerians NEEDED A CHANGE probably they were tied of eating bitterleaf soup and wanted a new soup not knowing that the new soup will be made of vinegar

Buhari is an illiterate, he has no regard for education.

His kids are like him.
His daughter went to UK to study photography in University, imagine.
What is wrong with studying photography abroad? Do you think photography is just about taking selfies of you and your girl friends? Do you know the wide areas that photography entails? Film making for example.

You also contribute to the situation we are today. If to say you solve the Problem once and for all not just luring them as the APC tried and fails, this will be a story.
Nonetheless, I'll advice Mbuhari to invite you so that you'll share those sweet words you use for them that time.
In bold.

Sir! You did not solve anything, you only made promises and agreement with them and you didn't fulfill anyone till you left. It's that agreement you made under tension that night without considering how you will fulfill it, that is causing trouble for this administration. If you had taken up the mantle and open up to ASUU and motivate them to do research and think out of the box of how to make higher education self funding as we have in develop worlds, we won't be at home for the past 6 months today. You still remain a failure sir.

He signed that 2009 agreement even though late HE Yardua was the President, albeit a comatose one because of ill health.

One fella here was once arguing with me that it was not GEJ that caused this current ASUU problem despite enlightening him, perhaps , he will now keep quiet since GEJ himself just admitted so. That nairaland fella was too young to understand that as at 2010 when the controversial agreement was executed in the budget, GEJ had fully become the substantive President and just went ahead to give vent to the ASUU problem we face today.

If PMB acts in such irresponsible manner, his successor will have the problem PMB is having today because of his predecessor, GEJ.

He actually created the problem FG has with ASUU today. Implementing that agreement costs over N1.2 trillion!
He literally kicked the can down the road.

The three Universities run by Lagos State government are not on strike, that's how Tinubu will run federal universities. Records speak louder than shouts and fake statistics
