The first thing a normal person that's programmed to think in one direction as to what speaking in tongues implies( which is usually used in Christian gathering ), is to think first about speaking in tongues recorded in Act of apostle. Speaking different languages in Babel is different from speaking in tongues in Act.
Our understanding of some things is spontaneous and it's base on auto-suggestion by our brain. Referring to Bible in such gathering, he should have used speaking different languages instead.
