Ndidi moving to Center back I see, time to bring back one of my unpopular opinions

I won't put it past Peseiro. Leon is retiring and Ekong is just not it. Now that the midfield is seeing a little competition, he might try Ndidi in CB.

Do not sugarcoat this bull crap

Ndidi has been terrible as of late
This is a way to push him to central back while they sign a more competent DMF

If he fails at CB they sign a better central and ndidi is out. There’s no sunshine in this story

He better get his act right and become an attacking DM or else he’ll see his role go to someone else

Omanambala1, is that you?? grin

But seriously speaking, I am beginning to consider moving Ndidi to CB indeed. Raphael Onyedika should in time take over the CDM role.

Ndidi's ballplaying in that CDM role is not good enough. It's bang average. It partly makes our midfield plays look disjointed.

Still under consideration for me. But ofcos, we know he will play DM when next our Super Eagles meet unless Peseiro surprises us.

Why can’t our boys evolve easily

This was also mikel shortcoming the attacking aspect of midfield

Terrible how? Man was out for almost 6 months and you expect him to start playing well immediately. Lol! He is playing well today. In reality he could be a ball playing CB.

Aina is being dragged on Twitter by Torino's fan. I think he caused a penalty. Didn't watch the first half.

Mikel actually excelled in the attacking aspect of midfield plays. Led the 2013 Afcon tournament in assists.

Capable defensively for Chelsea just as he was offensively for Nigeria from deep in midfield.

In this set-up, Iwobi will be CAM.

Onyedika-Alhassan-Iwobi. Sweet. The tactical sync and potentials abound.

Another option could be Onyedika-Nwakali-Iwobi. Similar quality in terms of tactical sync and potentials.

Even Aribo could slot in as AM in other 3-man midfield options.

Tactical varieties founded on the right personnel in each role.

How much will these people pay him shocked. So he rejected Chelsea for them? I think Man UTD was interested in him one time too.

Henderson was available, Leno too, yet this joke of coach never tried to get any of the two, knowing fully well that Schmeikel was leaving?

Bamba Dieng. Story of the year.

Agrees deal with Leeds.
Leeds hire private jet to fly him to UK for medical.
Dieng refuses to board aircraft after OGC Nice hijack deal.
Moves to Nice for medical.
Fails medical.
Remains at Marseille.
Might not get enough game for WC for Senegal squad.

Wilfred Ndidi FT Stats for Leicester as CB.

Leicester 0-1 Manchester Utd - EPL Matchday 5

90mins+ played.
105 touches.
82/91 accurate passes.
90% passing accuracy.
100% ground duels won (3/3).
100% aerial duels won (1/1).
13 recoveries.
1/3 accurate long balls.
5 clearances.
5 headed clearances.
2 tackles.
2 interceptions.
Was fouled once.

*A Rock Solid Central Defensive Performance from the Octopus.

*Ndidi completed the most passes (82) in the game today. Also recorded the Highest Passing Accuracy (90%) for all players to play 45mins or more.

*Ndidi should just continue getting playing time as a CB. He feels happiest and at home when he is defending and doing his ball-winnings and keeping his passes short and crisp.

Iheanacho will eventually find his way into the first team. Rodfwrs is simply foolish dropping hin on the bench. The attack badly needs him. Its inevitable
