So I’ve been thinking about my application and it seems I’ve made some silly errors mostly financial. First, I applied way too long ahead of my travel date (4moths) which I was told it’s fine given the recent increase in processing times. Second, there was a transaction of 2.2m which I haven’t declared it alongside a few others. 3rd, I used wrong conversion rates for Naira to GBP. Btw I had tier 4 visa which expired 2019. Kindly advise.

You have submitted your application, so there is nothing you can do other than wait for the outcome.

Just hope for the best

Hello Guys,

I had my biometrics on the 11th of last month at Abuja for a spousal visa which is supposed to take 15 WD for a decision to be made.
Today is the 16th day, do I need to send a paid email or do you guys sugest I still hold on a little?

Too early to send paid email because there’s a general processing delay. This time, the processing time of 15 business days is not applicable.

Thanks so much for taking out time to reply. Just one more question please. My Visa is not yet ready and still being processed, but I have every other document including my flight ticket fully paid for. Can I still start it on the tradesystem platform pending when the visa is ready in about a week or so? My departure is September 26th.

You paid for ticket when visa is not ready yet?

Pulled from gov.Uk website:

Visit the UK
Visit visas, including standard visitor visa applications, are currently taking on average 7 weeks to process, however some applications might take longer. We are working hard to process applications to get back to the 3-week service standard.
————————————————————————

If you go through this forum you will see that some applicants waited for close to 12 weeks for visitor’s visa

Yes, it's nearly certain to come out as it's being done from Singapore. But even if doesn't, I'll just pay $100 for cancelation and get my refund.

My application was on 21st of June 2022 it is a standard uk visit visa and am traveling alone. I am thinking of sending a paid mail to them and also sending a letter written by my lawyer through DHL to the British embassy in Lagos. I will enclose my first passport in 2010 data page and the visa page and my recent application, my university in Nigeria certification that I graduated in 2009 .What do u think? What other option do u think I can employ. The lawyers I contacted in the uk are asking for huge some and I can’t afford it. Exploring local options please am open to suggestions
you have 3 months from the Refusal date to get it overturned or revisited (advisable). You were denied recently without a ban, then you need to check if it's not your new evidence that's linking you back to 2008. If you are sure it's mistake and fault from thier end, I won't advise you to relent or back out on the pursuit of true light using a uk based Immigration adviser or lawyer because everything is negotiable, complaint is not enough to get the decision revisited or overturned because, unless your complaint is been uphold, anything asides that, the decision will remain untouched. If they enforce a law on you, it's advisable to challenge it by law also. Please you have 3month to receive a headway on this, else you are going 10yrs wait period. Everyone opinion is good. I Just couldn't overlook your post.

A cancellation fee of $100 is not bad, but trust me, I am not made to throw away my hard-earned money. Anyway, best of luck.

The reason I did this is, the flight ticket is part of the requirements for the visa application as you know. Yes i couldn't have used any of these reservation sites to get itinerary but every 2 days flight cost to Singapore has been increasing sharply. When I started this plan early in the year, flight was $1200. Below is the latest price. I saw it luckily for $1950 on trip.com so I decided it lock it down. Who knows what will be the price in a few weeks. It's worth risking $100 than paying maybe $1000 more later.

Update: The exact flight I booked for $1950 on the same site on Friday is now $2850

Thank you.

Try use :
departure - Sept 26th
Return - Oct 3rd
Qatar (1 stop).

Below is screenshot of Priceline and Skyscanner

Hello, so sorry about the outcome of your visa application, you should call UKVI to find out when your passport would be sent to VAC. Please what was the category of your Visa?

Good morning. Four months ahead is fine. The none declaration of the 2.2M is not a show stopper in my opinion. The ECO will use the correct conversion rate. I have made a similar mistake in the past and it didn't affect the outcome of my application.

Relax. I'm sure everything will be fine. Have a nice week!
