comparing dog or cat to a cow in the situation sounds somehow.. now the boy is 18.. I'll assume the cow is a big cow.. How on Earth can u rescue something weighing more than you from a river

So many ignorant folks here. Just as an Igbo man stores and values money, so also a Fulani stores and values cow. The cow is his investment. If Na you get investment, naturally won't you save it from collapse?

If you are not ready to sacrifice your life for a cow in Nigeria or India, you are not a true patriot.

This young hero of 18 years old saw a first-class citizen of Nigeria, and a fine cow for that matter, drowning in the river. Rather than chalk it up to the will of the Prophet, our intrepid cattle herdsman forgot entirely that he never learned how to swim, before diving into the fast-flowing current of the river so as to fulfill his patriotic duty of saving the cow from a watery demise.

Now unfortunately the young hero has paid the ultimate price as his reward for trying to save the cow that was flailing in the river, and as such his manhood will live on in the history books of Futa-Djallon, his glorious homeland in Guinea. State and federal officials have been duly notified about the untimely death of this cow so that adequate preparations can be made for a state burial of the cow with full military honors.
