Nobody has yet to explain why for the 3rd time now, we've seen oluremi Tinubu, a senior senator in Nigeria berating an entire tribe of people.

Blueraydick, larride, you see what I talk about when I say Tinubu is one of the most tribalistic candidate Nigeria has ever had??

This is who is being packaged as non tribalistic oo.
May we never fall prey to propaganda again.

I was looking for the full video before responding to this and now I've gotten it.

Here

If you have any yoruba man around you, show them the video and ask what they think. I can bet my life savings you'll be told the same thing I'm telling you now. She was CLEARLY JOKING.

It's not like this will even change anything about the narrative you already have grin but at least, your question has been answered.

I was Atiku leaning before, but now I'm Obidient. Besides, most of BATs most vocal supporters on this thread don't have PVC and won't be voting come elections cheesy
izzou:

Since when you have been doing rallies here, how many people have joined your movement?

Can you point one person here that was supporting BAT, but decided to support Obi because of your rally?

Rallies are useless. Strategies are what is needed.

Getting the target audience with the aim of achieving the highest number.

PS: The target audience must be someone with PVC

most people who talk on the internet don't vote. that one na standard.

and they are not the target demographic of ward leaders.

DEMOCRACY is a game of numbers

and in a third world country, the numbers arent the people arguing english or sharing memes. it is your boli and akara sellers on the street. your mechanics, artisans , bus conductors.

election day will be the real litmus test for Peter Obis celebrated organic growth.

so let me say it again

2015 was pdp at the height of their powers, raining dollars, unleashing dasuki ATM, and after everything, all they git in lagos was 40%

now ask yourself what the outcome of all these PO rallies will actually be, based on historical precedents

if a party with a structure and unlimited cash and incumbent intimidation could not reach 50% of the vote in a stronghold state

what do you really think will happen in oyo - where LP has never had a previous showing, where the incumbent is struggling to hold his mandate, and where APC will be lighting a fire to push him out?

So you mean despite Tinubu's stranglehold on Lagos, he couldn't deliver 60% for Buhari in 2015...interesting. Lagos was an APC state in 2015, so again, I don't see the point you're trying to make with this Lagos analogy.

I get the point you're trying to make, but using Lagos as an example was a horrible choice. I'm sure amongst all the APC states, Lagos was where APC performed the worst in 2015.

I don tire to explain these things to Don J. I undertand tho, we are in election period and light-hearted jokes will be misinterpreted, minior issues amplified and different narratives be spinned around till it begins to look like the truth.

When someone does something multiple times, you know it's a pattern and a habit.

We now have senator Oluremi Tinubu the wife of the "detribalized" Tinubu on 3 occasions now publicly denigrating Igbo people.

Again, 3 separate occasions in public.
Here she is comparing igbos with other tribes and saying igbos are the worst.

Now at least you can see where the man's supporters form narratives like these.

Eat a pie of your advice. Don't try to changed the direction of the discussion.

Power generation and distribution under the infrastructural revolution of Tinubu's led APC, what was the number of megawatts then and what is it now after 7 years¿

Also what was the cost of power per kwh in 2015 and what is it now¿ Or are some people now paying even more for darkness shocked

It is not my fault that you are living in a remote village that has no power supply.

It is on record that Buhar has done so much infrastructure wise and even created many lasting avenue for infrastructural development.

Spin doctors! You guys really need to learn that word! Spin doctors!!
People who are masters and experts at spinning narratives. People who would repeat a lie numerously till it begins to appear like a fact.

Example is this.
Fact: Tinubu is SICK and OLD to lead a country of 200 million people. Especially one that has had 2 old presidents. One that died in office and put the country in crises and the other that used half of his term for medical tourism.
More importantly, we need an energetic president that will be up and doing at all times and alert to the many complex situations of governance. One needs unperturbed agility to be an effective leader.

SPIN DOCTORS: we don't need a president that gyms. A president is not going there for wrestling contest. Strength and agility doesn't matter at all. SPIN DOCTORS!

Fact number 2: Why will a presidential candidate who wants to govern over 200 million people never come out and inform the government of his plans? Why will he NEVER speak to the public? How does this frontrunner successfully evade media scrutiny unlike the emerging frontrunner? How can we scrutinize and access his talking points if he doesn't ever talk to us, the masses?

SPIN DOCTORS: We don't need a talking person , what we need is an action person. People who usually talk don't do. "Just trust him".
SPIN DOCTORS!!! SPIN DOCTORS!!!
They've misled us for soo long. Don't fall for them again.

Here, we can clearly see the spouse of a leading candidate laying curses on the entire Igbo tribe.
She compares the igbos with hausas and calabars and says igbos are the most troublesome.

Let us not forget here where the oba threatened to throw igbos into the lagoon in 2015.

https://twitter.com/ijeuru9/status/1565538528989167619?t=pOiXScrqQ70lK7sfplL2lA&s=19

After this hateful narrative, this is what a famed supporter here said.
I'm honestly shocked by what I'm seeing because God knows that all the yorubas I've met in my life have never given me reason to feel bad based on my tribe but the messages from the yoruba leaders are a very bitter pill to swallow.

I didn't know APC promised to only improve power in highbrow areas in Nigeria.

Oh, so Buhari couldn't build the infrastructure he promised so he resorted to creating avenue for infrastructural development. Wonderful.

Answer this simple question. How many thousand megawatts of electricity has your government added to the national grid¿

Also, resulting from the great strides of infrastructural development of your government, kindly extrapolate where Nigeria is expected to be by 2027 amongst the indices given below.

I am showing you why such hateful narratives are prevalent, even amongst the educated demography.

When your leaders are consistently spouting tribal talking points, it tends to spread.

And it is still noticeable that you are yet to condemn dayo's xenophobic warmongering.

Example below.

I have been there.

there is a reason i dont spend much time in the politics section. i have been on this platform since 2006

conversations in politics used to be civil, though we still had to cope with tribal supremacist wankers always trying to push the narrative that they were somehow superior to the rest of us

but most of that changed from 2011-12, when data became cheap and NL became open to just about everyone, not just aje butas, or abroadians or workers in blue chip companies

an influx of people who are not interested in anything other than spreading their peculiar brand of hatred

you start off by trying to be civil, and eventually you learn that the people there are not looking for sane arguments or reason, but to spread bile and hatred

at this point, you either quit, or you show them no one has the monopoly on violence and give it back to them fire for fire. of course that is a journey into a forever war of increasing acerbity

also: what you are doing is part of that game - and we all see through it.

beaf played this game very well back in the day

why are you posting what raumdeuter has written, without posting what he was responding to for proper context?

i am fairly polite - but when i meet bitchass niggas looking for trouble, i respond in kind. no gentleman on these streets.
there are a lot of trolls that play the exact game, start insults, then run to the mods when they are insulted in kind. MODs will not check who started or instigated - they will just ban.

the onus is for you to show what raumdeuter is responding to rather than try to spin a narrative that raumdeuter just wakes up in the morning and starts cussing out ibos.

You are after all doing EXACTLY that with remi Tinubu, even though your post has been repeatedly debunked, you still post it. How many more times will you still post this cunningly and deliberately truncated video to push your narrative?

Knowing the kind of country we are in, Remi should not have joked with that. Any small line is misconstrued here.

You wouldn't blame people for interpreting it how they want. Because you and I understand Yoruba, we would know its a joke. Someone from the east or north may not see it that way.

If that didn't have a video, we wouldn't also know its a joke.

Public Office holders should learn cautious of what they say or do in public.
