If one's course is for one year but was given two years visa. How many years PGWP does the person qualify for? 1 Like |

Hello everyone, so here’s my situation and I need y’alls advice. I applied July 5th Upfront medical passed since July 18th. Ever since nothing has happened on my profile. Now my question is, is it advisable to pay tuition and start online as I don’t have feedback about my visa? Because the last defer date for deferral is 27th of September. And I can only defer to September next year since my program admits only in September. Please help. |

daffy22: 27th September will make it exactly 12 weeks from the week you applied I believe. Nobody here can give you assurance PPR will be out before then but just prepare for a delay i.e, either defer to next year or if your faith is strong, start online and hope for the best. Shalom. 1 Like |

I booked to Moncton. Ethiopian air thru Dublin. That was the cheapest I could find at the time. Departure scheduled for upper week though. Go directly to Ethiopian air or any airline website of choice. Other insights may be thrown your way here Hajarat1504: |

calm down, order your GCMS notes to understand the real reason for refusal. In the mean time, did your mom provide documents as per her source of income, If you have siblings who are still dependent on your mom, she will have to convince the VO that she is making enough money to sponsor you in Canada as well as take good care of the remaining children back in Nigeria. For a 3-4 year program, your sponsor will have to demonstrate a very strong financial capability that will sustain you for the duration of your program. she doesnt have to show the availablility of the total tuition for the duration of your studies but she has to convince the VO that her income will be regular and consistent for the 4 years or so you will be studying in Canada. You are still young, get your GCMS notes, educate your self on this thread and see if you can make a second chance. Canada is a very good place for a young student. collinsunusual: 2 Likes |

TomisinFemi: PGWP depends on the duration of your course not on the length of your visa. 1 year course will give you 1 year PGWP. 2 year course will usually give you 3 year PGWP. 1 Like |
