Funny that Irish neighbours of England/Britain get away with caustic rants against the dead Queen, but a Nigerian-American professor is denied the same thing? Or what is really funny in this please
These Irish twitter posts are from unknown people that could as well be BOTs. Uju is verified and a known professor at CMU.

If Bezos decides to pull his funding, the uni won't find it funny with the prof.

From Professor Anya and Irish citizens and citizens of the common wealth, I identify with the feeling of injustice done by the British Monarchy which the queen represented. We hope that with time Charles will apologize for the evil and atrocities committed by his grand and great grand parents.

It is only agbadorian cockroaches that are mourning the death of their almighty queen amongst her former colonies. That says an awful lot about the mental health of willing slaves. Every other part of the former British empire are genuinely enraged by the genocidal history of that evil empire. But Tinupoos henchemen want us to cry that the queen is dead. The same monarchy that killed millions of Africans in their land and made great efforts to saddle the black color with all sorts of humiliating history ..

And I have always said it here that this kind of "Stockholm syndrome" is cultural. Chinua Achebe mentioned this in his book "There was a country". Certain segments of the Nigerian state are populated by folks who have been browbeaten overtime by their evil rulers, to accept servitude as a normal way of life! You will see them rolling on the floor to greet their overdressed Obas as they get upset with you for questioning such overtly dramatic display of inferiority complex . They wear grand servitude as a badge of honor. Big shame!

These days, they have become proud agents of darkness midwifing evil. They will support all types of dictators in the country because in their land, even before the coming of the white man, monarchical dictatorships reigned surpreme! They are surprised when you call for accountability because shuch words are alien in their default cultural settings.. Who asks the Ooni or the emirs how they run the finances of the traditional stools? Who questions the ordinary humans they have made tingods!?
Mr idiotic lpobian that castigated the mostly civilised ethnic people in Africa, revisit Yoruba history then, u will know that our obas hadn't had absolute power because as a pragmatic race our forefathers realised that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely hence, we had separation of power eve before advent of colonists. Whereas in lboland no central government, theirs was primitive archaic way of governance that reign among the apes and gorilas. Postrating for natural rulers is mark respect which is part of culture, no apology for anyone on that. Other way round, it is money that rule ur societies even if one needs to wake his/ her from slumber sleep is by kicking.

Moving on does not mean forgetting. Only a fool forgets who their real enemies are.

Nobody forgot, i didn't mention forget. Holding grudge, bile, hatred and bitterness is not moving on. i said to forgive. Igbos are very quick to call themselves Christian, just like you saying God's own man. But the practice is lacking in this regard.

And this justifies what the Igbo woman did.

Gush!! Just look at the species of humans I share a country with.

Can you Igbos really look yourselves in the mirror and admit for once what you do isn't right? Haba!! This is appalling.

Is this the sort of character you people hope to instill in Nigerians with an Obi presidency? What is wrong with you guys?

You've never been oppressed before Ishi. People don't smile or cuddle their oppressors.
I understand dear. If she had died after a prolonged illness or under strange circumstances, the celebration would have made some sense, but the woman died at a very ripe old age, and was barely ill, so I find it totally futile to celebrating the death of someone who obviously lived a life most cannot even imagine. Rather, I find her passing another sober reminder that death will come to everyone. I want mine to be like hers; peaceful and sorrounded by family.

It is not every thing you think of that you say. And even the ones you say, you should have the wisdom, discipline and discretion to know where and when to say it. She's done more harm than good by saying what probably millions of other people like her feel but didn't say.

It is mind boggling what humanity is transforming into. I'm even more appalled some folks see this as a justification for the hateful rant from a professor who should know better.
