Good evening admin, I have a question. if one doesn't go for general cds but goes to thumbprint and do monthly clearance (no problem with this), will there be any issue? like for not always attending general cds

provided Your LGI will allow you to thumbprint for your monthly clearance then you have no cause to be worried. The CDS na pure scam just that some LGI used to consider CDS attendance before you can do clearance

Good evening all.
Please I have a question.
My name came out for service on the school notice board.
But I still have some fees to settle, would it prevent my name from being uploaded to the nysc portal?
Tho I intend going next year

Your name will be on nysc portal cos you must still come back to the school for your statement of result. That's where they will grab u

Ghosting your service is the best method here because you can't abandon your service when it's not yet time

Your LGI will be able to help with that
But you have to settle him

Hello , I'll try make it very short.

So we were posted to a grammer school in burutu Lga, delta state Nigeria,

a primitive environment in delta state, they haven't gotten corpers for about 5 years or more and we were the first set to be posted,
There a 5 of us.
An ijaw community, it lacks a lot and nothing to develop the corp member.

No light
No water
No road
And the worst is FOOD, NO FOOD.
and we are not paid.

We were provided accommodation

I would not have reported if I had known about the locality, but we were immediately accepted and I was the 4th person seeing that the chairman was making effort to see that we were taken care of.

I accepted because we were expecting some sort of payment from them and it looked liked they wanted to.

Getting close to resumption, we enquired about what we had agreed on. At least to supplement for the stress. A community that lacks basically everything, no igbo man there and you know the adage that says "if you go where you can't find any igbo man, run"
The chairman was reluctant to give a reply, it looked as if we were scammed.

We were 5, we draw strength from each other, at some point we all wanted to leave cuz, the nysc is the last stage to your life in Nigeria.

We have documented at will be difficult relocating. We are yet to discuss this with the LGI, but it looks like we have already been reported that we want to leave.

How do we quit.

Cost of living in this town is really expensive.

I came with my pos machine, hoping to start a business there, but transportation from there to ugheli where the nearest bank is located is 4000 naira, to and fro. How much do I have, that's a loss.

We thought of running a class for them, they look unresponsive and poor.

No light, we send at least 500 naira every week charging our phones, it not like you can do any online business before your battery run out.

We want out, how do we go about it.

Please I need any possible suggestions and opinions on how to do this

We're not even talking about how to save from the 33k.

just try and cope with it pls, my service year was one of the most stressful periods of my life, next to the Nigerian law school, but I persevered because it's for only 12months after which you'd have your life back... You don't need to bother yourself about saving, you only need to survive the 12 months, after which you can relocate... Godspeed.

From 33k Alawee to 5 Million Naira Weekly online. Joseph advices fellow Youth Copers.

Dear NYSC Corper

Life after NYSC can be depressing, do yourself a favour: save up your allawee & learn high income skills like copywriting, affiliate marketing, programming, AI, robotics, data analysis, etc

Stop looking for where to learn chin chin, shoe making...

Avoid skill acquisition programs that teach you how to do moi moi and the likes.

I'm not saying those aren't good but know the world is advancing and you deserve better high paying skills.

Wake up and pick a high paying digital skill today, learn practice and earn yourself a good life.

E get y.

PS.
If you're interested in learning digital skills that can give you financial freedom.

nawa o

You guys should talk to your LGI if he/she can repost you guys to a better place that is accessible. Let your LGI know the challenges you guys are facing. I believe you guys have every reason to be reposted. Expecially on the ground of NON PAYMENT OF MONTHLY STIPEND by your employer/s

If paradventure it didn't work out. I mean if your LGI didn't post you guys out to a better place that is accessible, then the other option is RELOCATION

You guys should relocate to another state. You can't be in a place that is not just only accessible but also working without being paid by your employer

Lol, have you toured the whole community to have assumed no presence of Ndi Igbo or whataview?

Ogun state is your best option being an industrial state. But the state doesn't pay allawi o

Oyo State pay allawi. That is, if you work in any government establishment but has limited industries compare to ogun state
