I applied on the 24th of June 2022 and upfront medical was updated on the 6th of August 2022. This morning while I login into my IRCC portal account I found out that the status of my review of eligibility changed from "Processing" to "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Gurus in the house what does this mean and how long will it take IRCC to work on my review of eligibility? Please your experience would be appreciated. Thanks

Any more info would be case by case.

Ask and I'll reply. I'm not a member of any Mun WhatsApp groups.

Why not drop the info here? I’m also going to MUN… I assume you are in the WhatsApp groups…the 2 groups

Hello guys I've come back to post my timeline

2nd time applicant by the way
Applied June 9th
When I applied my previous medical was still valid so I had to wait for it to expire before doing another one
Submitted upfront medical - July 12th
Medical passed - August 3rd
At this point, I was already hoping PPR would come before my birthday which is August 16th but IRCC had other plans for me it seems
Waited and waited, Started sending webforms immediately application reached 12 weeks
Then eligibility review started 1st of September yay!
After that, I kept logging in every day until last week I just decided to check my submitted documents and noticed that the client information section had a deadline of 3rd of October. I quickly drafted a letter of explanation with the help of my uncle and my parents
and I submitted it via webforms and to 4 Nairobi visa office email addresses.
The status of the client information is still showing 'Not provided'
Finally yesterday, PPR while I was in online class.

Documents submitted
1. IMM1294
2. birth certificate
3. passport
4. letter of acceptance & confirmation of enrolment
5. mybankstatement & scholarship letter
6. digital photo
7. IMM5645
8. IMM5257
9. Proof of upfront medical exam

That's pretty much it!
For any June/July applicants don't worry too much you're next!

aclfemmy:
The eligibility reviews are in 2 parts done by 2 officers; the junior officer first works on it and upon being satisfied recommends it passed. If the review is recommended passed, it is then passed on to the senior visa officer who will now do the final review and may agree with the former, in which if he did, he will give a final pass and eventually send notice of ppr. If on the other hand, he disagreed with the recommendation earlier passed, he will fail the eligibility review and refuse the application. And that's the final. It's at the final review stage that ppr or refusal is sent by the snr visa officer. So what eligibility review the Mp has access to was the recommended passed and not the final review done by the snr visa officer. So it's either way: so may one just be favoured by His grace.
To the bolded I thought so but the Visa officer don't send PPR to the applicants but processing office any further delay in issuing ppr after approval by VO the processing office is responsible..including refusal Notice..

Congratulations!!!

I am happy because, having been there, I know what it means to do this by yourself.

The thinking, rethinking and overthinking of the documents added. The systematic way of justifying every statement in a letter with a proof doc.

I know you will go far in Canada.

Cheers.
Finish with BEST grades my man. That will serve you better in the medium term.

I actually did read it and I followed it. It's the “sadly” part that triggered my comment because I am a lawyer so pardon sentiment grin

Lol grin Calm down. Lawyers are very important in our society wink

We were actually talking about two cases of fraud involving immigration lawyers in Canada.

In the first case, the immigration lawyer submitted an application for a study permit and the applicant paid 500k naira but the application failed. The lawyer then reapplied and it was successful, but he demanded 730k naira from the applicant and said that he will not give the details required for the applicant to get his passport stamped if he did not pay.

In the second case, the guy paid the lawyer for a PR application but he never completed it. The guy had to complete the application himself.

That's why I said "sadly" -- because of the risk of ending up in such a situation. Is there a way we can avoid such situations? I'm sure you know better as a lawyer yourself. Please advise.

If your ticket was issued by an agent, the agent may have to put the infant ticket in for a refund if it is refundable and issue a new child fare ticket for your child.

However,if you issued online you can call the airline or go to Turkish office and they will rectify what you will pay is subject to availability.

Send Ircc a mail explaining the situation and also sens proof. I know someone who was refused because they didn't get her acceptance letter. She sent the letter to ircc through webforms and emails to Abuja and Nairobi. Her application was reconsidered and she's in Canada now. You can try that.

Try to email Abuja on a Monday or Tuesday morning and you'll get a response in less than 2 days.

Please can i get your contact and or the person contact to work on this. Thanks i have mailed all embassy guys and even webform but it kindda difficult getting response now

An IRCC seminar/webinar.

They usually have seminars across the country, at various schools.

The only reason a person can be given that PGWP that short depends on the expiring date of your passport, and after renewing your passport, you can apply for extension.
