Hi my people, I will like to share a testimony to just encourage someone that you can do it. I know copied my question munamoqel about me asking for price difference on automatic car but I believe you should copy this one too so that people can see that some of us are still getting it right. Thanks to @lexusgs430 for the talk about house rent pay is mortgage money. @ticha, thank you for the knowledge shared on mortgage and always ready to dissect my situation. @mamatukwas my sister, thank you
I got into the Uk 6month ago and here we are as a house owner in the Uk. It can only be God. Thank you Jesus. @munamoqel, ensure you share this too in

I am so so happy for you! It's always such a relief getting off landlord wahala! And you've completed right on time before new rates kick in!

Please does Ethiopian Immigration ask for Covid test results when we layover at Addis Ababa (4.5 hours), from Abuja to London Heathrow?

Thanks.

Hello Everyone,

Did anyone recently switch from Tier 4 to Tier 2 (not HCW) using the standard application timeline within the UK, please how long did it take to get the decision mail from when application was made online?

Gov.uk site says 8weeks but ours is now almost 11weeks and nothing yet from Home Office.

Is there a way to track it or what can be done?

Facebook comments i see many complaining that it takes ages for those inside UK. Some 6 months and no response, they are having to ask their MP to intervene

1/2congrats on the 30 years work need to pay . We will complete the congrats in 2045 when the payments is completed either by you or you kids . In Najia most of our houses is paid for and we don't bother about interest rate hike affecting our monthly payments of mortgages like the bank of England 2.2 hike will make payments jump from 2000 pounds per months to 2600 .in some part of Nijia you can build a house for 60 to 70m and sell you 80 to 90m making 20m profits (zero tax ) .

Get your refund first b4 applying for another visa route. So, technically,
1. No
2. Yes

I am curious why is 1. = no if its a job within the care industry . The guideline says this is yes

1) If her husband applies for tier 2, will they still get the IHS refund?

When we talk about buying your own property, it's a worthwhile investment........ wink

Why do you want to keep paying your landlord's mortgage........

Buy your house in the UK, before you start building that house in Nigeria....... Why do you want to remain a tenant in the UK, but a landlord in Nigeria........ grin

Thank you smiley

Tax cuts at last
Pros and cons, but at least I can do extra work without fearing falling into additional rate.
Might even move to Scotland.
