Hello Everyone,
While trying to book biometrics for standard visitor visa last week, I had put priority service option in the cart before it became unavailable. Now I'm unable to complete the booking as I keep getting error message "Quote has error" whenever I try to check out. I've been unable to delete the option from my account because there's no option for that. As a result I can't even proceed without priority even if I wanted to. I'm kind of stuck. I've tried to contact TLS Abuja but there's no phone number to call or email address. Please does anyone know how this can be sorted or provide TLS contact? Thank you.

You never can tell. You’re neither an ECO nor a staff at the consulate visa section, so you can’t totally write off his opinion. I think it’s best to ask those who got their visas and those who didn’t to say if they got two emails after TLS notification or not, that way, you can be able to make an accurate conclusion. Asides from that, don’t write him off. Blessings

Hello all.
I did biometrics and submission of documents at TLS on the 15 of august and I got a mail that my application has been transferred to the DMC. Till date I’m yet to get any mail concerning my application.
I tried reaching them on their number but I can’t seem to get anywhere with it.


I got this email (image attached) on the day i did my biometrics. When tracked it showed that my application has been transferred to the DMC.

Thanks giselle, I think the administrative review team as done their own part this is mail I got today from them,

"Your application for Administrative Review has succeeded Thank you for the application of 15 July 2022 for an administrative review (AR) of the decision dated 22 June 2022 on your application for entry clearance to the UK as the Dependant Partner of a Student under Appendix ST of the Immigration Rules We have carefully considered the points raised in your application for AR. We have overturned the decision to refuse your application for entry clearance to the UK as the Dependant Partner of a Student under Appendix ST. The decision of 22 June 2022 is withdrawn. The application of 29 April 2022 has been sent back to the original case working team to reconsider. They will make a new decision on the application and inform you of the outcome. If the application is refused, you will be entitled to apply for a fresh AR of the decision. If you paid a fee for your application for administrative review, your payment will be refunded in full. We apologise for the errors made in the original consideration of the application. Yours sincerely,

How person go fit get back him passport from BHC?
My sister applied for uk visa since july 15th. Ukvi don send am message say it was successful.
Till now she never collect passport.

You should get a get a decision this weekend because standard visitors visas takes average of 7 weeks

It's quite straightforward, let your sponsor expressly state that he's willing to sponsor you with the said amount, and also attached his account statement with sufficient funds.

the only mistake was that he didn’t state the amount on the invitation letter , but he expressly stated that he will bear the cost for my feeding , accommodation and all other expenses , he also attached his 4 months back statetement with 2000+ Closing balance

Thats why they wanted him to state it expressly because it does not make sense.

the sponsor should have a healthy bank statement and not by reducing amount to 1000 pounds.
Sponsor also has his own responsibilities and bills in the UK, and if he has a family in the UK that is also worse. He will be expected to have something to fall back on because bills are monthly and will pile up.
No need for this squeezing.
They mentioned your salary of 100k to further back up their fears.
If you can’t afford the holiday and same with your sponsor then dnt reapply. Prepare better. Good luck

He/she should have supplied a p60 or payslips if he does not have a healthy closing balance.
Reducing the budget may not be the ans at this time as eco may perceive it as both parties trying to manipulate things to secure a visa and the funds not indeed available.
Given the above thoughts and going forward,

1. You may have to sponsor part of the trip, whilst [s]he supports you with a letter to accommodate you and feed you,
2. [S]he waits when he has a healthy closing balance to sponsor.
3. Final option would be u reapplying and stating you would sponsor the trip yourself exclusively.

I intend to fully sponsor her invite to the UK for 3-4 weeks however the challenge we have is proving her ties back to Nigeria. She left her banking job about 2 months ago and has been trying to set up a fashion business, she currently sows and sells thrift shoes using her personal account-all these on a low key hence there are no documentations to serve as proofs for the upcoming business. Could anyone pls advise on how to go about this? Even if she registers the business under CAC now, will it make any difference? Since i intend to apply by the end of next month

So, my sister is a medical doctor at an NHS in Norwich. She wants to sponsor my Visit visa trip plus Accommodation and feeding for the period I will be there with her. We have the same surname and she will be giving me her 6 months statement of account from her bank over there to apply for the visa.

I have a business that I do but I only use my personal account to do transactions for my business. I don’t have a CAC either as proof of being a business person, just the descriptions on each transactions I make; money coming in and out. Sometimes 400k and above comes in and out of my account for a year now. Can I use my personal bank statement as for the 6 months statement of accounts or that won’t be possible?

OR
Do I just open a business account and start over from the beginning?
