No one really can say the way the elections will go.

In a country with an educated electorate, or as educated as those in the Southwest, Obi would have been a no contest. Social media and opinion polls would count.

2019, Atiku lost primarily because an uneducated electorate up North voted enmasse for Buhari, ensuring a win despite a disastrous performance in his first term.

One can't properly phantom Tinubu's strength. His greatest uncertainty is in the North, states where Atiku supposedly has advantages as he is a Northerner.

However, Tinubu should get the endorsement and backing of Buhari and whatever goodwill Buhari has left in the violence riddled North may see BAT making a strong showing there.

Tinubu also has the popularity of his running mate, Yerima Shettima with him. This should see him make a good showing in the Northwest, especially if Zulum joins the campaign train.

Atiku and Tinubu are probably the 2 strongest contestants. Obi and Kwankwaso would eat into their potential votes. I foresee a re-run. Whoever Obi teams up with, most likely Atiku, will determine the outcome of the rerun.
