Those seeing 189 scores, it was meant to be the platform to display your total correctly answered questions but it was disapproved so it is a technical glitch. Computer will be programmed to choose those who scored 70 and above and they will proceed to the next stage of the exercise. Each stage of the recruitment Carries a percentage, at the end it will be collated and the highest scoring fellows will be selected.

In the Union Bank test by Dragnet I made reference to, thousands applied all over the country. Only few of us made it to the interview stage.

Back to the NERC recruitment test with 100 questions in all, considering the critical nature of the questions and time constraint, could you confidently boast of answerring at least 70 questions correctly? Don't tell me by the grace of God, answer from the grace of your abilities.

A friend told me he answered 87 of the questions. But whether correctly, nobody can tell.

if he did guess work for all the questions he is sure to fail. Don't depend 100% on luck

do you have any idea when the next step will commence? Is it this month or next month.

If that's the cutoff mark a lot of us would make it to the next stage. Was thinking it would be 60+ or just the highest scorer from each regions.

What do you expect from men/women that have not written test in the past 10 years or more ?

Let us just pray to be among the selected ones, because all what am seeing here is like they are going to select people not really base on score, because if the cut off mark is 40 to 50, then there might be a large number of people that will make the cut off mark and people are saying that the slots are limited. So it's just going to be a selection process not only based on merit

I would like to put on here that the test is just a factor, not exactly the determinant. None of the vacancies are entry level where aptitude/assessment test is the determinant. Next phase should begin two months from the time the last phase ended/closed!

I once said the test is just formalty purpose like we aren't in Nigeria..and someone tackled me and said NERC goes by merit.. that he/She knows a commissioner there ..it's just following due process . there is reason not pasting the result..for example if the president has a Candidate and the person doesn't meet the cut off ,will dey not give the person offer letter ..dey themselves wnt want to try it ...and this one they have limited slot ,they will share it within senate ,house of rep ,the presidency, the commissioners in federal character and the commissioners in NERC.
Rest will be by merit

The tin don go two months again, habba. Dis people better contact us earlier o so that we go know which one we dey inside naa. I don't think they will conclude this recruitment this year with this recent info. May God help us.

I feel they will want to complete it this year cuz of Election...and cuz the present administration of NERC wn't know what the next dispensation of government will hold for them

Yeah strongly agree with your view.

I also think they will finish the whole process from now to December, so that for those that are been selected will resume the work early January next year because of the coming 2023 election

In most cases, being a candidate to a top shot doesn't mean the person is dull. Such person is fortunate to have "a miracle working connect." Like we all don't wanna be in their shoes.

Test not being a determinant factor might be true, but there are many vacancies for entry level that sat for the aptitude test. I know more than five entry level applicants that sat for the test.

You are absolutely correct! "The initial review stage sorted candidates on the basis of their qualifications and years of experience for applied roles in line with the Commission’s scheme of service." Everyone that were invited for the aptitude test are perfectly qualified for the roles they applied. 70-160 candidates are definitely qualified for a particular position. However, 2-4 candidates will be selected at the end. Cutting edge advantages count everywhere in the world among tens to hundreds of qualified candidates! Cutting edge advantages are luck/favors, favorably connections, recommendations etc. We are all qualified in all ramifications, and not all qualified will be recruited, so let stay positive! Unlike the private sector where they hired the ones with exceptional skill sets. In the public sector, adequate skill sets plus cutting edge advantages are enough to get hired.
