Hi guys am about upgrading my samsung note 9 but am stucked between pixel 4xl and s10 plus
I'm in love with Google pixel camera software cus am a photo freak and its a deal breaker for me and as well I love to do some gaming especially CoDM
Am aware of the strong processor snapdragon 865 in Samsung S10 plus which means great performance. But a confused which I should better for camera performance, software and overall processor ability especially for gaming and display

S10 Plus

Both phones uses the same processor. The differences is that pixel 4xl offers night mode photography while the s10 plus does not, better picture quality (which rivals the iphone 11 pro max) than the s10 plus, does not have ultrawide camera while s10 plus have it. The s10 plus was released on february/march 2019 with android 9 one ui 1 and can be updated to android 12 one ui 4, while the pixel 4xl was released on august 2019 with android 10 and can be updated to android 13. The Pixel 4xl is a better choice.

you're right. When the first Pixel came out it beats the iPhone 7 and Galaxy s7 in term of camera. And pixel 3 introduce night mode before any other phone. The pixel 6 introduce magic eraser which erases an object or someone from the background of your picture. In term of computational photography it to google. What i do want them to improve on is their camera hardware which have start to improve from 12 mp main camera (in the first pixel to pixel 5) to 50mp (in the pixel 6 and 7), and also improve on their processors speed and efficiency. Just wish that google processors were manufactured by TSMC (that also manufacture apple processor, mediatek processor and qualcomm snapdragon 8 plus gen 1 processor). But there processor are being manufacture by Samsung (which is less efficifent and not as advance as TSMC).

Forget most these talk about power of the chip, in reality snapdragon shouldn't be compare to MediaTek, were I live, I was having serious network issues until when I switched to huawei p series then to pixel no single network problem in fact I am even supprised when people around me complain about network issues, plus my pixel never lags opening app is smooth. In fact I often get frustrated when using other peoples phone it delays in opening a file. Power was never pixel problem, it the battery that is their weak point though it seems it has been solved in the 7. I miss my chance to get the pixel 6 or 6 Pro because alot of people were complaining about the glitch in the 6 so they were selling it off at a cheaper price but I heard the android 13 update some most of the problem experienced.

Op, buy the itel p38 pro max. The camera is on par with the iphone 14 pro max. Trustte me, you will not be disappointed.

I use oneplus but will go for google pixel any day any time....have seen one before and I most admit it better than some samsung with same year of released

i said 8+ gen 1 (the chipset that powers the z flip 4 and z fold 4) not 8 gen 1.

But phones are almost the same. But the S 10plus is a little better.

I've personally used both phones previously. My recommendation without doubt goes to the Pixel 4XL. Performance is nearly identical on both but in terms of camera the Pixel has the upper hand and I personally like Pixel UI over One UI.

Currently want to sell my Pixel 6 Pro by December to get the new 7 Pro, just in case anyone is interested

Pixel 4xl has 90hz screen, which is a big difference. The screen color accuracy is also better on the pixel. Go for the pixel s10 plus is outdated, you'll also enjoy the face unlock on the 4xl. I would personally recommend the s20 fe 5g, it's the best in the price category (170k below), better camera, latest software, only if you insist on QHD screen.

I disagree with this. Even the comments on thesame gsmarena says otherwise. Most users prefer the 4xl
